Southern New Hampshire Energy delivers home heating oil from Londonderry. Its website describes heating oil and diesel fuel delivery, energy-efficient equipment and repair services, and the company says it has been in business 30 years. A 2026 customer said their heat stopped working right before a snowstorm, and after one phone call the company was at the home within hours, replaced the filter, cleared out sludge from the bottom of the tank and added oil to get the system running. That 2026 customer said a delivery scheduled for the following week was sent the same day, with no extra charge for the early delivery. A recent customer's first oil delivery was ordered online, confirmed over the phone and delivered 2 days later. A recent customer said a minor situation with a delivery was taken care of with no questions asked. A recent customer in Sandown, NH called Natasha in the office and the driver Tony R. polite and smiling. In 2024, a first-time buyer who ran out of oil said the company was making a delivery less than 2 hours after calls made around 11. In an April 2025 r/newhampshire thread, a poster said they ended up using Southern New Hampshire Energy because it has a phone number you can call. A recent customer said a February delivery was overfilled beyond what they could afford and they were charged more than agreed. That customer asked to speak to management, never heard back, and in May got an email saying the account had been sent to collections. A 2025 customer said calls to order oil went unanswered, an online order was charged the next day, and the website chat said the oil would not arrive until 10 days after the order.

SNH is great! Their prices are the best around that I found in the past (though at this time, 10.01.2026 they're pretty much all the same) and I decided to go with them again after being with the Other company for 26+ yrs. Great guys over at Southern NH Energy! I had a minor situation happen with a delivery and they took care of it no questions asked. Highly recommend doing business with them
Very frustrated with the lack of support and customer service. back in February funds were tight. And we needed a set amount of oil delivered. Oil was delivered, but they overfilled more than we could afford and charged us more than what we agreed upon. Woman at front desk was very kind in supportive and gave me list of options. But I requested to speak to management to solidify a solid plan of attack The following week. Never heard back from anybody. I waited another week or so. And just assumed, they let it go. Fast forward into May I had an email that I was sent to collections! Trying to reach out to southern New Hampshire Energy was a nightmare, and they seemed to have no idea what was going on. And requested to speak to the owner. Andrew, in which I was being told for weeks that they were too busy, very frustrating as I was trying to figure out a course of action and as to why I was sent to collections so early, when the operations manager told me, it should not have been to that point yet.. not sure.I want to do business with them again
Just had my first oil delivery with SNH Energy. Ordered online, confirmed over the phone, cheapest price for our zip code. It was delivered 2 days later. Easy-peasy. No unnecessary drama like with County Energy.
