SR Fine Home Builders builds and renovates houses. On its Houzz profile the company says Jeremy Sherer, master builder and principal, brings over thirty years of experience in residential construction, and its BBB profile describes Suburban Renewal, Inc. as specializing in new home construction, additions, remodeling and historic home restoration. A 2021 customer said Suburban Renewal rebuilt an 1880's farmhouse from the ground up, with completion nearly a year after the start, and that the town's building inspector remarked at the final inspection that in his many decades as an inspector he had never seen a home so well built. A 2017 customer said Suburban Renewal completed an extensive addition and renovation over a nine-month process while the family lived onsite, and that they treated the makeshift living space with care. A 2016 customer said Suburban Renewal renovated the entire first floor of a 1929 home on the Eastside of Providence, including a new kitchen, walnut wet bar, bathroom, mudroom, dining room, butler's pantry and den. A 2015 customer who bought a 115-year-old house said Suburban Renewal moved the kitchen from one room to another, and that when the main staircase treads turned out to be poplar, master carpenter Roger created a new staircase. A 2016 customer, an architect in Colorado, said they spent more than originally estimated, and that much of it was due to client decisions on materials and design.

“So when some industry pros from Greenwich, CT, teamed up with Rhode Island-based builder Nick Vanasse of SR Fine Home Builders to reimagine one family’s seaside second home, they put their heads together to create a modern, relaxed retreat to entertain the family for generations to come.”

We really love the stain colour used in the kitchen you have for “Kitchen>Modern New Construction in Providence, RI” and would like to do something of this nature if you don’t mind sharing the stain combination. Your designs are top-notch and something like this in Canada would definitely have us remembering you
My husband and I bought an 1880's farmhouse that needed to be rebuilt from the ground up. After meeting with several builders, we chose Suburban Renewal as our contractors, and it was the best decision we could have ever made. From the inception of the project, to it's completion nearly a year later, there were literally hundreds of decisions to be made. From the company owner, Jeremy, to the project manager Nick, to the job superintendent, Mike, the consistency of the professionalism, communication, responsiveness and guidance from the Suburban Renewal team was outstanding. There was not a single, "ball drop" moment while working with Suburban Renewal. There was never a time when we felt that our project, and our satisfaction with how it was being managed, was not the number one priority of the company. The final product is truly our dream home. When our town's building inspector came to inspect the house for the last time and issue our certificate of occupancy, he remarked that in his many decades as an inspector, he had never seen a home so well built. I cannot imagine a better experience building a home than the one we had with Suburban Renewal.
Jeremy and his crew were a joy to work with and knowledgeable on all aspects of our build. Their craftsmanship, and that of their subs, was outstanding!! Cost cutting measures - when feasible - were initiated by Jeremy - this was truly appreciated. The build was complex yet we found Jeremy and team were up to the task and exceeded our expectations of client engagement and quality of the job. We are more then pleased with the final product.
Suburban Renewal recently completed an extensive addition/renovation to our home and without hesitation, I give them five stars. From the beginning, through the final details at the very end, Jeremy, Kristen, Roger and the team were professional, respectful, transparent and punctual. The quality of work is outstanding and we are thrilled with the finished product. Our foreman, Roger, and his crew were so knowledgeable and easy to communicate with, never hesitating to ask a question or offer an opinion when needed. We lived onsite during the project and they treated our makeshift living space with care and were always mindful of us and our two small children. Any hiccups we had along the way were attended to immediately, on or off the clock. The entire nine month process was rather seamless and we absolutely plan on using Suburban Renewal for future projects.
Jeremy was very helpful in the planning process and very knowledgable in the building process. When we first met him he said his strength was solving problems and we were able to witness that first hand during the complete renovation of our waterfront home. Jeremy, Kristen and everyone on his crew were a pleasure to deal with. We will be calling them again for our next project! We highly recommend them.
