What keeps people calling back is consistency across seasons: one customer says they've used SSC for gutters for more than 15 years, and another describes a crew that soft-washed decks, power-washed composite decking and cleaned windows in near-freezing weather without complaint. A 2022 review recounts an inspector, on-site for something unrelated, remarking unprompted that the gutters were "wicked clean." The work itself — windows left streak-free, gutters cleared down to bare downspouts, dryer vents and roofs cleaned on request — is the recurring thread through years of five-star reviews. The written record isn't uniform, though. A handful of reviewers, across several different years, call the gutter cleaning overpriced for the time it takes — one described $416 for under half an hour of work as hard to justify, another called $400 for the same job "kind of insane." Scheduling is the other recurring snag: several 2025 and 2026 reviews describe no-shows, a rescheduled appointment that slipped again, and an automated text-based booking system more than one customer found confusing. A 2026 review describes two unmarked workers arriving hours before a scheduled window with no company identification or vehicle branding — worth asking about if that kind of confirmation matters to you. A 2025 review also describes a double charge that took over six weeks to resolve, and a January 2026 review complained of unwanted marketing texts sent on weekends and holidays.
