I had a frustrating experience with St. Laurent Brothers. We needed a new roof, the existing roof being damaged in high winds last winter. We had a temporary repair. We got two bids from local contractors, and we picked St. Laurent. Their price was slightly lower than the other bidder and we got good reports on the quality of their work from friends. We wanted the work done in the spring, but Mark said they had to do their commercial work first, for business reasons. We understood that. He said they'd do the job in the fall. Starting in September I called both his cell phone and business phone every week or so, looking for a date when they'd get started. He never, repeat, never called me back. I spoke with his wife once, she apologized. Then, this week, in mid-November she called, not him, to tell me that they would not be able to do the job. He could have told me that any time between April and November, he could have called back even once. Shame on me for believing that he would do the job. I still don't have someone to do the roof this fall. So, no stars. Don't count on him.
