Stark Mountain Woodworking Co makes custom cabinets, and a vtdigger.org story has described it occasionally finishing them with stingray hide. The company says it has been in business for 33 years, and a dwell.com project feature credits it with cabinetry design. On Google it holds 4.3 stars from 6 ratings. A 2023 customer wrote that Stark Mountain fabricated and installed cabinetry for a large project in Connecticut, including a butler's pantry, a mudroom and a kitchen. That 2023 customer said they worked out solutions to difficult custom hinging and support problems that other cabinetry fabricators had balked at, and that the shop drawings were good.

“Cabinetry Design: Stark Mountain Woodworking”
Woodworking at its best
Stark Mountain fabricated and installed exceptional cabinetry for a large project in Connecticut, including a butler's pantry, mudroom, and kitchen. In addition to the high quality of the work generally, they were able to successfully develop and execute solutions to difficult custom hinging and support problems that other cabinetry fabricators had balked at. The shop drawings were good and the staff were all pleasant and efficient. I strongly recommend them.
