In October 2026 a Google reviewer had a shed built and delivered by Livingston Farm in Bristol, Vermont, despite pouring rain on delivery day, and called the process "well thought out, careful and attentive." Livingston Farm builds and delivers sheds and outbuildings, and it also sells mulch, compost, soil and stone from its yard. In September 2026 a reviewer bought a 24x14 shed: DJ and the team handled the quote and delivery coordination, and David (Sr) and Carl did the installation on a semi-challenging site. In May 2026 a customer with a very difficult approach credited Tyler and Brittany with getting the shed in place and Pat with the design phase. In December 2025 Tyler and Britany delivered a 12x20 building on a cold, snowy day and, when the customer asked, rotated it 90 degrees the same day. A 2024 Google reviewer had a custom-designed shed built to store recreation gear, delivered onto even stone included with the shed. In a 2023 r/vermont comment, a customer said Livingston Farm custom built a pub-shed the commenter designed, and added that they do barns as well. In September 2026 a reviewer wrote of ordering compost, soil and mulch from Livingston Farm every year, and a May 2026 reviewer got play sand for playgrounds. In January 2026 a buyer of a few yards of crushed stone called the price fair. In March 2026 an r/burlington commenter wrote that Livingston Farm has significantly raised delivery fees to the area; a 2023 commenter called the fee high for Essex, and a 2022 commenter said delivery from Bristol is "a little extra $$." In November 2025 a one-star Google reviewer wrote that the sheds are made in China and that the "garden soil" bought was sand with chunks of cow manure.
“Livingston Farm (they are great) said they can deliver - but they have significantly raised delivery fees to the area.”
“I have gotten stuff from Livingston Farm in Bristol recently and it's been great but the delivery fee is (justifiably) high for them to bring stuff all the way up here.”
“I was looking at Livingston Farm in Bristol for their Champlain Blue product as an option”
“Little north of you in Addison County but had a great experience with Livingston Farm in Bristol. Custom built me a pub-shed that I designed. They do barns as well.”
“I found Livingston Farm sells a 3/4" river stone that looks nice but it's fairly expensive and they have a high delivery fee since they aren't close to Essex.”
Livingston Farm is a pleasure to work with. A professional outfit through and through. They know their business from initial sale to delivery and installation. We had a shed built and delivered…despite the pouring rain on delivery day, their process was well thought out, careful and attentive. We are thrilled with the result! I recommend them highly!
Quick service .. good selection
We've been ordering from Livingston farms for years, everything from soil and stone to a beautiful shed. They are incredibly e friendly and helpful. The shed is beautiful and they did an excellent job delivering to a difficult spot.
We love Livingston Farm and order compost, soil and mulch from them every year. They deliver excellent quality products and make it really easy. Thank you!
I’m writing to share our wonderful experience with the purchase and installation of a 24x14 shed and separately, pea stone delivery. During the quote and delivery coordination, DJ and the team were attentive and timely with communications. The installation with David (Sr 😊) and Carl was flawless. We had a semi-challenging site but they came prepared with the equipment, knowledge and attitude to make it a rewarding experience. The professionalism with which the whole process transpired was refreshing (topped off by some wonderful tasty treats!!)
