Steve installed a new modern oil tank for me at a more than reasonable price. Steve’s work was clean and neat and everything is working excellent. Steve also does annual burner cleanings, and takes his time to ensure everything is operating smooth. I highly recommend Steve for all of your heating repairs.
Steve was great. He was on time, very friendly and knowledgeable. He had no problem answering my many questions. They took care of everything, including the inspection. I would definitely recommend him to my friends.
When we purchased our house we knew it had an older gas boiler and water heater. We had talked to a bunch of plumbers. Most of them wanted us to get rid of our older boiler and purchase a very expensive high efficiently boiler. Finally a coworker recommended Steve Dessert. We made an appointment for him to come check out our systems. He showed up on the day scheduled and right on time. He checked out our boiler and said it is a quality cast iron boiler that should last for quite a while more. He did recommend that we replace the 12 year old water heater with an indirect water heater. He went out to his truck and printed us a quote on the spot. His price was better than reasonable. We accepted the quote but said we wanted to wait a few months to do it. He said no problem. Once he again he showed up right on time to do the install. He had everything loaded in his truck and ready to go. He completed the install of the water heater and installed a multi zone controller for the boiler. He also did the wiring for the boiler and water heater controls. Everything was done very professionally. He is very particular about not only that everything works correctly but it looks good also. Most people probably do not care what some piping looks like to their boiler and water heater. It is important to me because it shows that he takes pride in his work. One thing to know about Steve is he is a heating expert. He is very knowledgeable about the heating systems. It is what he does everyday unlike most plumbers. He is a one man shop so you deal directly with him throughout the entire process. This is not guy looking to make as much as possible from a job. He does not try to up sell something that you don't need. Because he does a lot of service work. His installs are designed for easier/quicker future service. I would very highly recommend Steve Dessert The Heating Man to family and friends.
Steve arrived on time and finished in the job in one day. Everything from the old boiler was taken away. He is very easy to deal with.
