A February 2021 Angi reviewer who had fired an earlier company for not showing up wrote that Still Services came out the day they called, had the required part in the truck, and had the furnace fixed a half hour after arriving, at one third the cost of the first contractor. Still Services is a plumbing and heating company in Easthampton, MA. Its Massachusetts plumber license, 16196-PL-M, is active on the state registry, held by Matthew A Still. The BBB grades the company A+, and its BBB profile says it is located in Huntington, MA, offering heating and air conditioning services. On Angi and on HomeAdvisor it shows 4.8 stars from 44 ratings. Its written reviews date from 2019 to 2023, and Matt Still's own hand shows up in them. In a June 2022 review, a homeowner described the owner Matt coming to discuss the scope and provide an estimate for updating all of the plumbing lines in the home and re-plumbing a bathroom during a remodel, with Kirsten in the office coordinating and the technician, Stone, doing the labor; the original plumbing was not vented properly, and the reviewer wrote that everything was brought up to code. In a November 2019 review, a customer wrote that Matt put together a furnace quote that was budget friendly, then rearranged his schedule to return their home to heat before a cold front, after they had been without heat for 4 days. Another November 2019 reviewer wrote that Matt lent them a large space heater while they waited for the boiler to be installed. Cooling work appears too. An August 2021 reviewer had their air back in two days when other companies said it would take two weeks, and a June 2021 reviewer described a Sunday emergency repair in which the service man quickly restored the a/c. A March 2020 customer had mini splits installed in quick fashion. The sharpest complaint is a November 2023 Angi review: the customer wrote that Matthew did not diagnose the problem, made a greater problem, kept saying it was the drain and that he would have to rip out their shower, and charged almost $400 without fixing the issue. A September 2020 reviewer wrote that follow up and communications were seriously lacking and that warranty and rebate information was not provided. A June 2021 reviewer mentioned previous difficulty with the contractor before describing a timely, thorough response to a later request.

Still Services is an absolutely horrendous company. Not only did Matthew not diagnose the problem but he in fact made a greater problem. He kept saying that it's the drain and that he would have to rip out our shower. He charged us almost $400 which is outrageous considering he did not complete nor did he fix the issue. Berkshire Heating and Plumbing came in and diagnosed the issue and under 10 minutes and fix it in under 30 for a quarter of the price. Berkshire Heating and Plumbing is the way to go. Still Services is an outrageous company that needs to be shut down they are scam artists. I would have had no problem paying for his journeyman fee but to slap us with an almost $400 bill for a job that he did not complete, did not fix is outrageous and disgusting. These people should be shut down and out of business. What a disgrace taking advantage of a family on a fixed income.

Still Services replaced my hot water tank. These people are amazing. Exceptional customer service. Quality of the work of the highest caliber. Matt and his team went above and beyond to ensure that I experienced maximum service with a minimum of inconvenience. I will call them for future plumbing needs and have already told several people about them.
Still Services recently updated all of the plumbing lines in our home in addition to re-plumbing our bathroom in conjunction with a remodel. The original plumbing was not vented properly and Still Services took care to make sure everything was brought up to code and in superior working order. Everyone at Still Services was incredibly easy to work with; from the owner Matt who came to discuss the scope of the project and provide an estimate, to Kirsten in the office coordinating and communicating, to the technician, Stone, and his helping hands who performed the physical labor. I couldnâ t be more pleased with how smoothly the process went and with the exceptional final product. Still Services was respectful and accommodating in regards to our time, space, finances and in answering any questions I had along the way. I will without question hire Still Services again in the future should any plumbing issues ever arise. Additionally, I look forward to working with them when itâ s time to upgrade our homeâ s heating and cooling system.
