Angi rates it 4.2 across 165 ratings and Porch 4.5 across 106 — but both pools are dominated by reviews from 2010 to 2012. BuildZoom, whose nine reviews run 2014 to 2022, rates it 2.5. The early record explains the high averages. A September 2010 customer tracked a siding crew under a foreman named Erica Lopez working eight-hour days for four days and said the house looked new. In May 2010 a homeowner got a whole roof in a day, with the crew cleaning up after themselves. A January 2017 siding customer had materials arrive within days and installers who left the site clean. The later record is the problem, and it is specific. In August 2016 a customer said an $8,000 roof was left with the ridge vent unfinished, leaked soon after, leaked again, and that calls went unreturned; they were heading to small claims court. In November 2018 a customer who signed for 28 windows in August 2017 still had three uninstalled more than a year later. In October 2018 a reviewer said siding was not nailed to the wall and three pieces came off in wind, and that the company does not honour warranties. In September 2019 a homeowner with fire damage said burnt timbers and the centre beam were left in place and another contractor had to remove them. A September 2022 customer described a three-week job stretching to nine weeks with promised replacement material never delivered. Angi's own newest review, also September 2022, describes work that failed and was never put right, and Angi has flagged the listing "This pro is under review". The licensing picture is the other hard fact. BuildZoom lists five registrations for this business — a Massachusetts home builder and home improvement number 125371 that expired 30 November 1999 and was verified expired again on 10 July 2026, plus Newton residential builder, electrical and general contractor numbers — and shows every one as inactive or cancelled. Its BuildZoom score is 0 for that reason. Before any conversation about price, confirm current registration with the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs, get warranty terms in writing, and hold back a meaningful final payment until the punch list is closed.
