SV Flooring and Interior Services, LLC

SV Flooring and Interior Services works out of Everett and does floors — wood refinishing, laminate and stone installation, and commercial wood flooring. Its HomeAdvisor listing puts the company at six years in the trade and offers free estimates, with no warranty or emergency service on the profile. One customer has written, in July 2025, and kept it short: the job was done well, the result looked good, and they would recommend the company. The first thing to settle is the licence. BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration under the business, #211183, as inactive, with a 21 February 2026 expiration the directory checked again that April. A directory is not the state registry, so ask the company directly whether the registration has been renewed and confirm it against the state's own records before work starts. Massachusetts exempts flooring-only contractors from that registration, but taking one out and letting it lapse is a different matter from never having needed one. For a floor refinish or a laminate install around Everett, this is a small shop with one written review to its name and an open question about its registration. Get the licence status confirmed, and the scope and price in writing, before anyone starts pulling up floor.
