TA Exteriors

Tom Sheehey answers his texts. That is the detail TA Exteriors' customers keep mentioning alongside the fences, decks, gutters and porches his Malden crew builds — quick quotes, prompt replies, and a price that does not move between the estimate and the invoice. Angi lists 36 years of experience, a Massachusetts trade licence (#127445, expiring March 2027), and 4.9 from 67 ratings. The written history is recent and busy: 25 reviews since mid-2024, twelve of them in the last six months. This summer the jobs include aluminum trim over freshly painted window trim and soffits high up on a set of triple-deckers, a through-the-wall AC install, gutter guards, and a chain-link fence swapped for vinyl privacy fencing with a porch floor redone in vinyl boards. In March a damaged balcony was rebuilt from the homeowner's photos and design ideas, another customer had gutters replaced and a flat roof rebuilt with a deck and railing on top, and a fence replacement came with what the reviewer called spotless cleanup. A 2025 porch job went from demo to a new, bigger porch; in late 2024 a barn owner who had once had Tom mount a weathervane on a five-foot cupola brought him back for a new roof. The one sore spot is snow. In January 2026 a two-star reviewer who had been quoted for storm cleanup said the crew came a day late and the bill arrived at more than double the quote; a different customer the same month was happy enough with the post-storm plowing to sign on for the season. A December 2024 fence-repair customer wished he had known ahead of time when the crew was coming, and a November 2025 reviewer noted Tom is better reached by phone than email. HomeAdvisor's 4.9 from 67 is the same Angi profile. For fences, decks, porches, gutters and exterior trim around Malden, the last two years of accounts are consistent on price, speed and communication; for snow work, get the price per visit in writing before the storm.
