Tom Sheehey's crew worked high on the outside of a customer's three-deckers — window trim and soffit painted, then covered in new aluminum trim — and the owner wrote in August 2026 that they made it look easy. That is the range TA Exteriors covers: fences, porches, decks, gutters, balconies, roofs and trim, a lot of it on older multi-family houses. The jobs vary widely. In June 2026 a customer had an old chain link fence taken out and a vinyl privacy fence put up, along with a porch floor replaced in vinyl boards. In March 2026 another had gutters repaired and replaced, a flat roof rebuilt, and a deck and railing added. That same month a homeowner sent Tom photos of a damaged balcony along with their own design ideas, and wrote that what he came back with was exactly what they had in mind. In February 2026, after water damage, the crew replaced flooring and walls. They also fit through-the-wall air conditioners and gutter guards, and on one antique barn they set a weathervane on top of a five-foot cupola, then came back later for a new barn roof. Pricing and communication come up constantly on the good side. A June 2026 customer said Tom answers texts and emails promptly; a November 2025 reviewer found him easier to reach by phone. Several describe the quote holding — a July 2024 customer wrote that the price never changed and the crew stayed late to finish the job safely. A June 2026 homeowner who in the end did not go ahead with a 150-foot deck railing replacement still praised how readily he adjusted materials, budget and timing while they worked through it. One account runs the other way, and it is about snow. A customer in January 2026 hired the company before a weekend storm and was quoted a price; they wrote that the crew came a day later than agreed and the bill arrived at more than double the quote. Another customer that same month had the opposite experience — a two-man team out soon after the snow stopped — and signed up for the season. And a December 2024 reviewer, happy with two custom-built fence sections, wished he had known in advance which day the crew was coming. For fencing, porches, decks, gutters and exterior trim — especially on an older multi-family house where the work sits three storeys up — this is a strong call. Get the price in writing, confirm the start date, and settle how snow-removal billing works before the first storm.
I had a great experience working with Tom. He responded quickly to my messages and was able to install a thorough-the- wall AC unit for me efficiently and in a timely manner. He communicated clearly throughout the process, was reliable and professional, and his price was very reasonable. I really appreciated how easy he was to work with and would definitely recommend Tom for future projects.
Tom and his crew did an excellent job on my 3 families. They had work very high on the exterior of my 3 deckers and managed to make it look easy. Window trim and soffit painted and covered in new aluminum trim looks excellent!
Tom and his crew did a good job installing new gutter guards for us. They were courteous and fast and cleaned up after the job. I would hire them again.
Very thorough and efficient work -- they went above and beyond.
Amazing work by Tom and his team! They were professional, did incredible work and reasonably priced.
