A boiler replacement completed in one day is one customer's account of Taylor Energy's heating work. In an August 2026 Google review, the customer says Taylor installed an Energy Kinetics Ascent boiler, explained its features and future service, and thoroughly cleaned the work area. The customer thought the installation looked well done, while explicitly describing that judgment as a layperson's. There was also a mistake: the wrong thermostats were installed. When the customer noticed the next day and called, Taylor immediately scheduled a technician to replace them with the correct model. Furnace maintenance brings more specific praise. A June 2026 reviewer says Robert McCarty explained everything he did during a furnace cleaning and left the area very clean. In May, a longtime Wilson customer described their first cleaning through Taylor after the businesses' merger history as they understood it. They credited Rob McCarty with explaining the planned work, then describing the condition he found afterward. They also appreciated a citrus smell afterward, compared with the strong oil smell they associated with previous cleanings, and praised Taylor's email communication. Taylor says it serves Enfield, Vernon, East Windsor, Granby, Somers, East Longmeadow, Longmeadow, Southwick and West Springfield. Its website says the main office is under construction and temporarily located at Wilson Norige Oil, 409 New State Road in Manchester, Connecticut. Google shows a 4.6-star average from 183 ratings. An April 2026 review signed by Rob Dearth, facilities manager at Able Coil & Electronics in Bolton, Connecticut, praises technician Rob's help with issues over three heating seasons and the company's prompt service and friendly office staff. In a March 2026 review, another customer described an annual furnace tune-up by Scott and Allision, praised their thoroughness and friendliness, and said Taylor had serviced their heating since 1993.

Taylor replaced my old boiler with a new Energy Kinetics Ascent model. The work was completed in one day and the installation, to my layman’s eyes, looked well done. They took the time to review its features and discuss future service. The work area was cleaned thoroughly before they left. One minor mistake was made when the wrong thermostats were installed. I didn’t notice that until the following day and when I called, they immediately scheduled a tech to come out and replace the thermostats with the correct model.
The furnace cleaning provided by Robert McCarty was outstanding. He took the time to explain everything he did and left the area very clean after the work was completed. I highly recommend Robert for all furnace related work.
We have been customers of Wilson for many years. Then they purchased or merged with Norige. Now they have merged with Taylor Energy. I was a little apprehensive about new ownership and potential changes, but Taylor has proved to be a great company so far! They communicate a lot via email and seem very customer friendly. We had our first cleaning through Taylor with Rob McCarty, and he was great! I was very impressed. Rob was very professional and friendly, explained what he was going to do, then followed up after by telling me in what condition he found everything. And I REALLY APPRECIATED that the place smelled like lemons/citrus when he was done! Our house has ALWAYS smelled strongly like oil after our cleanings, so this was a wonderful improvement! Kudos!
Rob the service technician has been a great help with several issues we have had over the last 3 heating seasons. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. The company provides prompt service and has a very friendly office staff. I would highly recommend them for your service needs both domestic and commercial.
