Ted's Construction & Sons is a family-owned, Andover, Massachusetts design-build remodeling contractor. Its website says work crews are directly supervised by the owner, Ted Kosiavelon, and that the company has 38 years in business; Houzz's profile for the company instead dates it to 1978. The company does additions, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, decks, roofing, siding and replacement windows, serving towns including Andover, Lexington, Winchester and Tewksbury. The Better Business Bureau gives it an A+ grade, though it is not a BBB-accredited business. Houzz lists a 2012 Best Residential Historic Renovation honor from Andover's Talk of the Town awards, and a "Best Customer Satisfaction" certification listed from 2007 to the present. BuildZoom lists two Construction Supervisor license numbers for the company, CS-072314 and CS-026564, and a separate Home Improvement Contractor registration, #135716 — worth checking directly against the state's licensing lookup before hiring. A design-build option worth considering for additions, remodels or exterior work in the Merrimack Valley area; get a written scope and estimate, and confirm current licensing, before signing.
