Tempco Roofing Co

Tempco Roofing Co is a South Boston contractor whose homepage names Shayne Ferrara as owner. The company's own site describes roofing plus door and window, siding, deck, masonry, and skylight work, though its stated history is inconsistent — the homepage says over 40 years serving the area, the services page says roofing work spans over two decades, and the about page separately references a roughly six-year track record tied to a different construction partnership, so no specific founding year can be confirmed from the site itself. The written reviews are thin but consistent: in a 2025 review, a customer called during a Nor'easter and said Tempco responded quickly, diagnosed a leak, and provided both an immediate fix and a longer-term solution. Two earlier reviews, from 2023, described quick responses to messages and work completed as promised at a reasonable price. Two things worth checking before booking: the company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is registry-verified expired, and the inconsistent history claims on its own site are worth asking about directly. For a roof leak or repair in South Boston, the reviews on file describe fast, competent responses, though with only three written accounts and the noted inconsistencies, it's worth confirming licensing and getting specifics on the company's actual track record before signing.
