A full sewage ejector pit with a stuck pump, called in at the end of one day and done by noon the next: that is how a recent Google customer described The Drain Doctor. That customer called Ryan professional and efficient and named Karen on the first phone call. The company's website lists sewer and drain cleaning, ejector pump services, high-pressure water jetting, no-dig pipe repair, root removal, septic pumping and video tracing, and the company says it has been in business 54 years. A 2025 customer said Gary and his crew came to discuss repair options a few hours after the first call for a severe sewer blockage caused by tree roots, and that the sewer liner install was finished in under a week. A 2025 reviewer said that the day before Christmas, when their pipes didn't drain, they came out, identified frozen pipes, gave recommendations to clear them and left with no charge. A 2022 customer said another plumber had quoted $14,000 to excavate and replace the connection to the street, and that Drain Doctor cleared the connection for $350 and inspected it to confirm tree roots were the only issue. That 2022 customer said they went back to the shop for a mop and cleaned up the basement. A 2022 reviewer said they did an exterior drain cleaning for a basement backup that happened only when the washer was used. A recent Google reviewer wrote that no one answers the phone. A 2026 customer said they paid for a video of the drain, were not given it and were asked for more money. In 2023, a customer wrote that it was a nightmare and they would never call the company again.
