The Gutter People

The Gutter People installs gutters, and its Angi page carries a 5.0-star rating from 39 ratings. The company's website offers seamless aluminum and custom gutter systems and names Portland, Brunswick, Bridgton and Auburn as its service area. On its BBB profile the business describes itself as Gutter Wholesalers, Inc., a wholesale and retail seamless gutter business established and incorporated in Maine in 1990, with June Lamson as owner. Its BBB grade is A+. A 2013 customer said Scott came out to evaluate the project and was not pushy, the crew did a walk-through before starting and another after, and the gutters stood up with no leaks when it rained the day after the install. In a 2013 review, a customer said the company honored its original estimate even though over 18 months had passed, and that any clean-up was done immediately. A 2013 customer said they never tried to upsell and explained what was not needed and why. A 2014 customer said the team arrived on time and worked straight through the morning and the drizzle, putting up green gutters with grey downspouts to match the trim and siding. A 2014 customer asked for extra work at the garage, and the downspout was custom cut with a removable section so a rain barrel could go in later. A 2016 customer said the install was done in about 2 1/2 hours, after a call a week ahead to confirm the date. A 2017 customer said the company held a price from about a year and a half earlier and plugged a hole birds had made in another gutter. When water found a way to back feed after the next rain, that 2017 customer said the company came out within a couple of days, tried a different way of funneling into the downspout at no charge, and the problem was resolved.
