- A basement window job — a 2024 customer said other window companies had declined it
Legacy Custom Building is a one-person outfit: on its Thumbtack profile, the owner describes being the sole owner/operator of the business. A 2024 customer on Thumbtack said they had the company put in basement windows after several window companies declined the job, saying it would require carpentry work beyond their level. That 2024 customer wrote that the project needed a lot of custom work and was done professionally and with great quality.

I had this company put in basement windows. Several window companies were consulted, all of them declined. Their reasoning was that it would require some carpentry work beyond their level. And so I should contact a carpenter. The project was done professionally and with great quality. It did require a lot of custom work.
