The Hardwood Brothers is a family-run flooring shop in Framingham — Michel handles general construction, Diley project management — that installs and refinishes hardwood, engineered, laminate, vinyl plank and ceramic floors, including herringbone patterns and stair work. The company's own site says it's been operating under that name for about a decade, after Michel and Diley started out with a partner in 2015 before striking out on their own. The volume here is unusual: 41 Google reviews, every one of them five stars, running from 2024 straight through this summer with nothing negative in the last six months. The specifics repeat rather than contradict each other. In a June 2026 review, a customer said the crew stuck to its original quote even after finding unexpected rotting floorboards underneath. In May 2026, one review described heavily worn oak floors filled, sanded and finished with Bona Woodline Poly; another the same month called a small patch repair invisible once finished. A homeowner in North Attleboro, writing in April 2026, singled out Mike and his brother Jose for not leaving a job until it's fully done, including moving furniture back into place. The scope runs well past refinishing floors already there. A March 2026 review described Diley and his crew replacing carpet with hardwood in four rooms and resurfacing a staircase in the same visit. An April 2025 review detailed a bigger job — bathroom tile, a new staircase, and a whole first floor of hardwood — crediting Jose's responsiveness throughout. A subcontractor who brought them onto a client's job, writing in August 2025, called them on-time and reasonably priced, and noted they supplied their own protective gear and moved furniture unprompted. Recurring names across the reviews — Michel, Diley, Jose, and a crew member named Michelle — line up with the ownership the company states on its own site, and the same themes come up again and again: on schedule, clear communication, cleans up after itself. A strong call for hardwood installation, refinishing, or matching a repair into an existing floor — the volume and consistency here are hard to match, though as with any contractor it's worth getting a written quote for the specific job.
Great job refinishing our floor. Stuck to the original quote. Even when a few unexpected rotting floor boards needed replacing. Thank you, thank you for the amazing job!
We had a great experience with this flooring company! They came to fix a small section of our floor that needed repair, and honestly, they did an amazing job. The new piece matched the existing floor perfectly — you can barely tell there was ever a repair there. Very professional, detail-oriented, and efficient. We’re really happy with the final result and definitely recommend them!
We had heavily worn oak floors with spaces between sone of the boards. Hardwood Brothers refinished them to better than I thought possible. They filled the spaces, sanded, and applied quality Bona Woodline Poly. I highly recommend them.
Hardwood Brothers did a fantastic job at my home in North Attleboro. Mike and his brother Jose are extremely committed—they don’t leave a project until it’s fully finished. Their crew took care of everything, including moving and replacing furniture, which made the process completely stress-free. The workmanship was excellent, and the pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommend
From start to finish, they were very professional. Estimate, they provided was very reasonable and and they started the work on time, very professional. They cleaned up after the finished work. I'm very satisfied. I highly recommend them for hardwood flooring work.
