Fifty Google ratings, every one of them five stars — and sixteen of those landed in the last six months alone. The Hardwood Brothers is busy, and the reviews keep circling the same thing: the floors come out matching. The company is family-run out of Framingham, founded by brothers Michel and Diley, who say they started in flooring around 2015 through a partnership before going out on their own. It's a small outfit, listing 1-10 employees, and the work is what you'd expect from a floor specialist: hardwood installation and refinishing, herringbone, engineered, laminate, vinyl plank, ceramic, and stair work. The recent jobs read like a refinisher's greatest hits. Heavily worn oak with gaps between the boards, filled, sanded and coated in Bona Woodline poly. A repair patch blended so cleanly the homeowner said you can barely tell it was ever repaired. Improperly installed kitchen tile torn out and replaced with wood matched to the rest of the house. Four rooms plus resurfaced stairs. One customer whose refinish turned up unexpected rotting boards noted the crew replaced them and still held the original quote — the sort of detail that says more than any adjective. They range beyond Framingham despite listing only that town: one recent job was in North Attleboro, where the crew moved and replaced the furniture as part of the work. The brothers are named constantly in reviews — Mike, Jose, Diley — which is usually a sign the owners are on site rather than dispatching. Two things to keep in mind. Nearly all of this reputation lives on Google, and the review history only runs back to 2024 even though the company describes more than a decade in flooring, so the visible track record is shorter than the tenure claim. And the crew is small, so scheduling on a large project may depend on where you land in their queue. If you have old wood that needs bringing back, a patch that has to disappear into an existing floor, or a carpet-to-hardwood swap you want matched to the rest of the house, this is a well-reviewed fit. Confirm the service area covers your town, and get the quote's handling of surprise repairs — rot, leveling, subfloor — written down before work starts.

Great job refinishing our floor. Stuck to the original quote. Even when a few unexpected rotting floor boards needed replacing. Thank you, thank you for the amazing job!

We had a great experience with this flooring company! They came to fix a small section of our floor that needed repair, and honestly, they did an amazing job. The new piece matched the existing floor perfectly — you can barely tell there was ever a repair there. Very professional, detail-oriented, and efficient. We’re really happy with the final result and definitely recommend them!

We had heavily worn oak floors with spaces between sone of the boards. Hardwood Brothers refinished them to better than I thought possible. They filled the spaces, sanded, and applied quality Bona Woodline Poly. I highly recommend them.

Hardwood Brothers did a fantastic job at my home in North Attleboro. Mike and his brother Jose are extremely committed—they don’t leave a project until it’s fully finished. Their crew took care of everything, including moving and replacing furniture, which made the process completely stress-free. The workmanship was excellent, and the pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommend

From start to finish, they were very professional. Estimate, they provided was very reasonable and and they started the work on time, very professional. They cleaned up after the finished work. I'm very satisfied. I highly recommend them for hardwood flooring work.
