Fifty-three Google ratings, every one of them five stars, and the same first name keeps appearing: Dmitri. TDS Flooring works out of Framingham and covers the Greater Boston area and MetroWest, handling hardwood installation and refinishing, vinyl, carpet, stair runners, wool carpet, and gym, rubber and cork floors for both homes and businesses. The jobs customers describe are rarely simple squares of open floor. One recent customer had an older staircase with an unusual layout and wanted a custom runner; another needed roughly 600 square feet of rubber gym flooring in an old mill building where the subfloor was uneven and in rough shape, and described the crew prepping it before laying anything down. A homeowner this spring wanted new hardwood matched to existing floors and got a near-exact match despite subpar subflooring and stair rails that were difficult to remove. That is the through-line: awkward existing conditions, handled rather than shrugged at. Responsiveness and communication come up in almost every account, and several customers mention the site being left clean. The review history runs from 2024 to 2026 — 49 reviews, no negative ones, six of them in the last six months. A LinkedIn listing and a Procore profile both describe the company as serving greater Boston, with Procore noting work alongside architects and general contractors on residential and commercial projects since 2018. One thing worth knowing: nearly all of the public praise sits on Google. It is consistent and specific, but it is largely one channel, so ask for references on a job like yours — especially if you are doing something unusual like gym rubber or a stair runner on an odd staircase. Good call if you want hardwood installed or refinished, a carpet or stair runner fitted, or commercial-grade rubber down in a gym or studio. Confirm the scope for subfloor prep in writing before work starts, since that is where several of these jobs turned on extra effort.

We couldn't be happier with our custom stair runner installation. From start to finish, Dmitri was incredibly professional, patient, and detail-oriented. He took the time to understand exactly what we wanted, offered thoughtful suggestions and expert guidance, and never made us feel rushed during the decision-making process.

Our staircase is older and has an unusual layout, so we knew it wouldn't be a straightforward installation. The craftsmanship was outstanding—the runner was cut and fitted perfectly, with every corner, edge, and transition looking seamless. You would never know how challenging the stairs were to work with.

The finished product completely transformed the space and looks even better than we imagined. It's clear they take great pride in their work, and that attention to detail shows in every inch of the installation. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful, custom stair runner and a team that truly cares about getting it right.

Dimitri was very responsive, helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. We installed a rubber gym floor which looks great. I have no reservations recommending him to others.

Dimitri and his TDS staff did a phenomenal job installing rubber flooring in my gym. My sports performance business is located in an old mill building and I needed about 600sq ft of rubber gym flooring installed.

The subfloor was not in great shape and very old, as well as uneven. TDS went above and beyond to prep the floor before installing the rubber and I couldn't be happier with how it came out. Communication is also very prompt and professional.

Highly Recommend
