Say "basement" and this is the crew that keeps coming up. Across 62 Google ratings averaging 5.0 and 21 more on Houzz at the same mark, the job described most often is a finished basement — one in Norfolk, one in Holliston, one in a hundred-year-old house full of surprises, several with a full bathroom added downstairs. The second most common is a kitchen taken down to the studs. RR Improvement Inc. works out of 393 Worcester Road in Framingham. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, 204657, is active and held by the company itself, and BBB accredits it with an A+ grade. Two names run through the reviews. Roberto runs the projects and answers the phone; Rodrigo tends to be the one on site. A January 2025 reviewer split the roles exactly that way. A June 2026 reviewer said Roberto had them meet his design person before anything started and took care of every part of the permitting with the town. The other thing customers keep returning to is housekeeping — rooms taped off, debris gone at the end of each day, and a December 2024 family who stayed in the house with two young kids from demolition through completion. They coordinate trades rather than doing all of them in house. An April 2026 reviewer, describing a kitchen remodel that grew into a down-to-studs kitchen and bathroom, listed the whole roster they used — electric, plumbing, painters, sheet metal, plaster and drywall, tile, countertop, shower glass, carpentry and cabinet makers — and noted RR installed their Wolf, Miele, Sub-Zero and Cove appliances as well. Ask who is doing which piece of your job, and who answers when a sub runs late. These are not weekend projects. A May 2026 reviewer counted six weeks for multiple rooms plus a bathroom built from scratch; a March 2025 reviewer spent most of 2024 on two full baths and an entire kitchen. Fix the schedule before you sign. If you have a basement to finish or a kitchen to gut in MetroWest and you want a contractor who answers texts and leaves the site clean, this is a strong candidate. Ask for the cost-per-trade breakdown one November 2024 reviewer singled out, and pin down the timeline up front.
Roberto and team were absolutely amazing to work with on our basement remodel in Norfolk, MA. From the very beginning, he and his entire team were very professional and in formative through every step of the project. He had us meet initially with his design person to make sure everything met our expectations and took care of every single aspects of permitting with the town. He was very accessible by phone, text, email, in-person. Any feedback, final follow ups or questions we had he answered promptly and had the team respond to immediately. Final trim, paint and flooring are beautiful and a perfect match to all of the details we already had on the main part of the house. We absolutely love our new basement space! You'll hear from us again for our next project for sure! Thank you Roberto and RR Improvement Inc.!
Roberto and Rodrigo were wonderful to work with for our home remodel project. They provided excellent communication and were able to resolve all issues that arose during the process. The resulting outcome was beautiful and received high praise from our friends and family. We definitely highly recommend them for all your indoor projects!
Fantastic and easy to work with. 100% recommend for anyone that is apprehensive about finding quality contractors with good communication skills. We were kept up to date the entire 6 weeks of our remodel (multiple rooms and a full bathroom from scratch) and the finish work is great. The only problem now is that our new bathroom makes our old ones look out of date by comparison… ready for a part 2 soon.
We hired RR Improvement for a kitchen remodel that expanded into a full “down to studs” kitchen/bathroom re-do. Roberto, Rodrigo and their team of subcontractors (we likely used them all: electric, plumbing, painters, sheet metal, plaster/drywall, tile, countertop, shower glass, carpentry and cabinet makers for the fridge panels) were outstanding. We used high-end Ikea (not an oxymoron) for cabinets and RR for everything else. They even installed our high end Wolf, Miele, Sub-Zero and Cove appliances, saving us install expense from Yale Appliance. First and most important, Roberto responded to every text within an hour. Second, he had very creative suggestions when considering daily constraints (all projects have them). Lastly, their entire crew were professional and friendly, and you could tell they took ownership and pride in their work (I loved how each sub wanted to show me their work after it was completed before they left, you could tell it was important to them). The entire project lasted about six months, which given the scope was what we anticipated. Roberto billed us a fair price (wasn’t cheap, wasn’t outrageous) and held to his estimates. We did have several change addendums, as projects our size likely usually do. You get what you pay for. I rarely, if ever, write reviews, but recommend Roberto and we plan to be hiring him again to do our basement soon.
We had a great experience working with RR on our home office project in Weston. They were fast to start and finished within a few weeks. Everyone was friendly, easy to communicate with, and clearly cared about doing things the right way. The quality of the work really shows, and they were professional from start to finish. Would definitely recommend.
