The House Pro

The House Pro is a Stoughton, Massachusetts contractor offering electrical work, roofing, air-conditioning installation and repair, and kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Angi lists 23 years of experience, 36 projects, free estimates, emergency services, factory training from CertainTeed, Harvey, Anderson, and Pella, and general and home-improvement contractor licenses. The dated customer accounts are mixed. In 2022, one homeowner said the crew was clean, finished in a timely manner, and did a good job. In 2020, another described wall removal, lighting installation, interior patching and painting, floor refinishing, and a new enclosed porch. A 2023 review is sharply negative, alleging shoddy work, missed deadlines, and unsafe electrical work; the contractor disputed those allegations in its response. Ask for a detailed written scope, the identity and credentials of any electrician performing the work, the payment schedule, and current license documentation. Confirm what emergency service covers and how callbacks are handled before signing. The House Pro may fit larger remodeling and electrical projects, but the serious 2023 complaint makes references, inspection, and contract protections especially important.
