Stratham, NH-based KRB Kitchen and Bath Design Center calls itself "The Kitchen + Bath Specialists of New Hampshire" — and the five Houzz reviews on file back that up with full-scope kitchen and bathroom projects rather than one-off installs. Owner and designer Kevin Roy is named directly across several of them, running the design work alongside a team that reviewers describe handling everything from structural engineering plans to permits and subcontractor supervision. The reviews span 2022 through 2024, every one five stars, and the specifics repeat: a 2024 review described a full first-floor remodel — kitchen and every bathroom — finishing on the promised 15-week timeline and at the quoted budget. Another described hiring the company twice, for a TV room remodel and a major kitchen remodel, and specifically praised the owner for pushing back on a subcontractor's countertop work until the corner radius was cut right. A 2022 review covered a smaller bathroom remodel with the same theme: responsive, professional, and easy to reach throughout. Houzz lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor number (CS-109867) for the company, but that's Houzz's own listing, not a registry check — worth confirming directly. It's also worth noting all five reviews here come from one platform (Houzz), where the company's broader page shows a 4.9-star average across 34 ratings and 81 posted projects. This is a fit for a homeowner planning a real kitchen or bathroom renovation — not a quick fix — who wants one company managing design through construction. Kevin and Carrie and their entire team are the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! I am living in my dream home now that we have completed a full first floor remodel and remodel of all the bathrooms. From the first meeting to the last where they were taking pictures of the finished project, I enjoyed every interaction. I came with ideas and pictures torn from magazines, and together, we created something extraordinary! When people walk into my home, they say, "WOW!" and "I love the vibe of your home." Kevin's experience led the way with certain features like moving from my dream gas range to induction (which I love!), a super powerful vent that takes every cooking smell right out of the house, to a great last-minute idea for the mudroom/entryway that added another WOW factor to that room. Carrie was fantastic in helping me to pick tile, cabinets, and flooring and feel confident that it would all flow to create the ambiance I was going for - a coastal beach house vibe. She encouraged me to be bold with some tile choices when I was going to play it safe, and I'm so happy for her encouragement. The bolder tiles make my kitchen pop and really give it that extra wow. Kevin said my project would be 15 weeks, and it was 15 weeks. Kevin said my project total would be "X," and it was "X." I moved out for this remodel, so being on time and on budget was very important, and he was a man of his word on both counts. The KRB staff was also amazing! They had to come back to tweak things and help me learn about my new home, but no one ever said no. In fact, it was just the opposite. They came quickly and were eager to make sure I was happy. This was a major remodel, and I invested a lot of money, a lot could have gone wrong, but instead it all went right and even better!! When I decided to change my flooring once they ripped my home down to the studs, Kevin didn't panic. He wanted me to be happy and he and Carrie helped me find the flooring I wanted. Even with this last-minute change, it didn't set the project back from completion but for a couple of days because the flooring guy powered through for us. How many people can say they want to be friends with their contractor after a major project like this? Not too many, but I 100% want to be friends with Kevin and Carrie for years to come. In fact, we are already talking about our next project -an outdoor kitchen. If you are looking for a GREAT experience with people who genuinely care and do what they say with the highest of integrity, I highly recommend you stop in and meet the Roy's. I'm so glad I did. Every time I walk into my home, I am filled with so much gratitude for the life I am blessed to live. From dreaming about the details to now living in that home, I can honestly say that I am LIVING MY DREAM. THANK YOU so much, Kevin and Carrie and the KRB Staff.
We have hired KRB twice, once for a tv room remodel and once for a major kitchen remodel (actually most of the first floor), and would highly recommend them. They have all the staff necessary to: design and plan the remodel, get structural engineering plans, building permits, estimate costs, and then make the plan a reality. Any sub-contractors are fully supervised and corrected as necessary. For example, our countertop contractors were balking at how tight a radius some of the corners were planned to be, the owner of KRB got them to remove the countertops again and buy the right tooling to cut the planned corner radius. This level of attention to detail has be prevalent throughout our experiences with KRB.
We recently finished our 3-month first-floor remodel, including the kitchen, bathroom, and so much more. The team at KRB did an amazing job of bringing our vision to life and creating a space that is both functional and beautiful. Everyone we worked with at KRB was professional, prompt, and always available to answer any questions we had. The attention to detail was impressive, from the custom cabinetry to the perfect tile choices, and glamorous lighting. The finished result is a kitchen and bathroom that not only looks great but exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend KRB to anyone looking to update their space.
KRB redesigned and constructed our new kitchen. The owner and designer, Kevin Roy, is extremely talented and did an amazing job with our kitchen design. His team is very professional and attentive and even after completion of the project, KRB has come back to make some minor adjustments. We love our new kitchen and thoroughly enjoy cooking and cleaning up in it. Couldn’t recommend them more highly.
Great experience with KRB when they remodeled our tiny, outdated bathroom. Design and implementation were thoughtful and professional. They communicated regularly throughout the process and listened to our ideas. Everyone at KRB was respectful and a pleasure to work with.
