TJ's HVAC helped replace our HVAC system after it was damaged. The initial estimate they sent us was $4000 less than a competing estimate from another HVAC company, even though the equipment was equivalent. They were very transparent and responsive throughout the process. They were able to schedule the replacement really promptly even though we were entering their busy summer season. Excellent work from start to finish.

TJ’s brought two people to our house to check on why our AC vents were dripping water. They spent all of 15 minutes looking around and said it was our roof leaking. It was clearly not our roof leaking, but they would not listen. Then they charged $225 for this 15 minute incorrect assessment where they hardly looked at anything. I have never had a contractor charge such a high price for coming out for such a short amount of time (and to offer incorrect information). I tried to express my concern and offered to pay for the 15 minutes they were here instead of the full one hour rate, but they said they charge $225 for all assessments. I guess this was on me for not asking how much it would be. However, I still find this to be a very high price especially for such a rushed assessment and poor experience. After their visit, I called Nashoba Air & Boilerworks. A person came out and diligently checked each of our AC vents, took time to check our thermostat, thoroughly reviewed each of the ducts in the attic and found the issue and told us out to resolve it. It was an easy, low-cost fix we did that day and it was NOT our roof leaking. Nashoba was much more knowledgeable and was able to solve our problem! They were also extremely thorough and charged a much more reasonable price. I can’t imagine how bad it would be if I had trusted the misinformation I was given, gotten a new roof and still didn’t have the problem resolved! I write this to save you time and money- don’t use TJ’s unless you want a short, expensive visit where they don’t solve your problem and tell you wrong information!
