TL Halford Construction, LLC describes itself on its Houzz profile as a Nantucket-based residential and commercial construction firm, and says its owner, Tommy Lee Halford, has been a general contractor on Nantucket since 1992. A 2016 customer said Tommy was their general contractor on the installation of a pool and pool cabana, and that he would always pick up the phone, give them an update and explain things in plain English. A 2016 reviewer wrote that the company's suggested design produced a deck addition, and praised its honest pricing. A 2017 customer said TL finished a major project on time and at cost. A 2018 customer said TL built their home and still works as their caretaker, doing work whenever they need it. A home-design article on nehomemag.com lists TL Halford Construction as the builder on a project team. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 135286, is expired on the state registry.

I can’t give enough praise for TL Hartford and all their high quality, timely and considerate work. b excellent group of people from start to finish. You would be fortunate to have them work on your investment in family and the future.
We love our house. TL buiit us a wonderful home and whoever sees it compliments it. We have maintained a relationship with TL. He is our caretaker and continues to do work whenever we need it. We couldn’t be more pleased.
TL and his team were exceptional. Professional, proactive, communicative and highly skilled and experienced at navigating any of the engineering or design challenges and issues that surface as a part of any major project. Most importantly he finished the project on time and at cost and did so in a customer friendly way that left us highly satisfied and more than willing to work with him again in the future. We’d recommend him in a heartbeat.
Professional, high standard of wormanship, honest priciing and suggested design produced a deck addition that more than met our expectations.
Tommy is an excellent general contractor, and we worked with him on installation of our pool and pool cabana. He would always pick up the phone, give us an update and explain things to us in plane english (for our non-builder background). We will happily work with him again on future projects for our house on Nantucket.
