Tolis and Associates is a Columbia pool company that both installs pools and services existing ones. On its website the company says it has been at it for 30 years and has installed thousands of pools in that time. A 2024 customer said earlier attempts to book had failed because the company was booked 2-4 weeks in advance, so that year they booked months ahead. That customer said Paul came over and they found a lot of gunk in the filter; the heat pump and filter had been stopping after around 30 minutes, and after the filter was cleaned they ran for a few hours. A 2023 customer said Eric and Angel arrived when they said they would and started work right away. That customer said Eric explained what he was doing and why, and gave tips for the next year's pool season. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, held by TOLIS & ASSOCIATES LLC under number HIC.0558437, is active on the state registry.
Paul was amazing. It was my first time utilizing his pool service. I had tried to make a reservation previous years and they were booked (2-4 weeks in advance!). I had to resort and tried my best to do self-maintenance since the pool companies were so booked. This year I booked months before. He came over and we found that there was a lot of gunk in the filter. Previously my heat pump/filter would work for a bit then stop after a few minutes, running around 30mins then stopping. After cleaning the filter, the heat pump and filter works much better and can run for a few hours. We can enjoy the pool so much better. Highly recommend this company.
WOW! What a great experience. Eric and Angel arrived (when they said they would), and after introducing themselves, started work right away. Granted they serviced our pool for the previous 2 owners, but they knew exactly what needed to be done, and did so in a timely manner. Both were courteous, answered all my questions, and cordial. As this is my first time owning a pool, Eric communicated everything he was doing, and why he was doing it, and even gave some tips as to make next years pool experience more pleasant. We will most definitely use Tolis and Associates for all our pool maintenance needs. Thank you!
