Tom Berkowitz Trucking, Inc

What started in 1980 as one dump truck hauling debris around Northbridge is now a family-run operation with its own transfer station in Whitinsville — Tom Berkowitz Trucking has stayed under the same family for two generations, now run by Jimmy Berkowitz. It handles curbside trash and recycling pickup, roll-off dumpsters, bulk-item removal and small demolition across a dozen Blackstone Valley towns, from Northbridge and Whitinsville out to Milford and Grafton. A neighbor in Douglas, writing on Nextdoor, said they've used the company for years with no problems and fair pricing. The Better Business Bureau has held it at an A+ since accrediting the company in 2021, and it turns up as a listed sponsor of a Uxbridge Scout troop's town cleanup — the kind of small-town presence that fits a business that's stayed in the same garage for three decades. One thing worth flagging: in 2020, a company representative confirmed a ransomware attack to a trade publication but declined to comment further — an old, resolved incident that has nothing to do with the trash and dumpster work itself. For curbside pickup, a roll-off dumpster or a cleanout anywhere from Northbridge to Milford, it's worth confirming current pricing and scheduling directly before booking.
