I pointed out their illegal business practice of adding a cc surcharge at check out (NYS BL 518). Instead of handling it with grace, Charles whined I was taking advantage of him and I was behaving like a his 4 year old son. That’s when I ended the conversation, police were called. Insight: Written quote for $1100.00+ - a water meter; they completed job within 45 min. I’ll let you all decide if that was price gouging at its finest. At check out, they said: “we accept credit card but we charge you the credit card fee”. Completely Illegal in NYS. Charles’ mom refused to take my credit card when I pointed out their mistake. Then the call came from Charles, where he chose spit out insults rather than acknowledge his mistake, get a five star review, and the referrals. Then came the “we’re not leaving till we get paid by cash or check.” Wooooo Weeee! Not threatening at all. Can you imagine him doing this to your elder parent, yourself, or anyone you care about? Chances are, he would. People who think they’re above the law tend to be bullies. Rockland County Consumer Protection stepped in, along with local law enforcement. Credit card was accepted, sans illegal surcharge. What a morning. Never a dull moment in patriotic Rockland. One star, for underhanded business practice and unprofessionalism. The additional star for the team, who were caught in the middle and generously tipped; about double the illegal cc fee.*mic drop.

These guys are pros... I had a quick 2 hour install on my food cart. They came out on time went above and beyond to help me. It was hard to find someone to take a small job.They hepled Bongos Fries get back to business. Thanks fellas...now my house needs work....

Two of my showers had issues. Over 2 years I have had multiple plumbers look at these showers and give suggestions. One shower would only give scalding water even though the mixer was set to cold.It ran the gamut from tearing down the wall and starting over to cutting into the plaster wall directly behind it and replacing the thermostatic mixer from that angle. In the other shower the cartridge that controls the overhead handheld would not turn unless I used a wrench. No one could find a replacement so they all wanted to rip out the whole wall and replace everything. Finally a friend recommended Top Notch. It was my lucky day! Charlie came ,looked r them over, took photos and said he’d be in touch… Several weeks later he returns and fixes both showers. He had the 70 year old mixer rebuilt and found cartridges for the other shower. So instead of 5 figure gut and replace, he did what no one else thought of for about $700 which would have been the cost of just the cartridges… if anyone could find them. So I strongly recommend Top Notch for any plumbing problem. Just the best!!!

Outstanding service. Had an emergency repair for my furnace/boiler on the weekend just as a winter storm was approaching. Top Notch was there quickly, solved the issue, did the repairs. Professional and knowledgeable. Pleased to have a plumbing service who I can rely on in a difficult time.

Installed new Gas Boiler and created new heating zone. Meticulous attention to detail. Had them put in new Hot Water Heater the following year. Just all round excellent.
