A toilet that cracked on the way in, a second one ordered, and the whole job finished by 10:30 the next morning: that is how one recent customer described calling Marzano Plumbing & Heating. The company works around Hartford; its website lists Hartford, West Hartford, Glastonbury, Wethersfield, Rocky Hill, Newington, Cromwell, Farmington and Avon, and it says it has been in business 48 years. On Google it holds 4.9 stars from 779 ratings. One recent customer called on an evening about a leaking hot water pipe in the basement; the customer wrote that Tony called within minutes and that, with Ray, they got water running again. A recent customer said Ed and Jeff replaced a garbage disposal and repaired some plumbing pipes. A recent boiler customer said Tony quoted the whole system, and Tony, Roy and Jeff came a week early because of an impending cold wave. Ray and Jeff removed an oil burner and installed a gas boiler for a recent customer, and a recent sewer line repair drew praise for Tony's responsiveness and the attention to cleanliness. A recent customer with an early-morning call about a leaking water heater said the guys came out and fixed it that day. The state registry lists an active Connecticut plumber license, PLM.0288091-P1, held by Tony Marzano. A recent 1-star customer said they were told after the technician arrived that the company does not touch boiler systems over 35 years old, and were charged $250 for a 20-minute call. A recent 4-star customer held back a star over price. A 2025 customer said a water hammer problem continued after the visit.
“Tony Marzano plumbing and heating”
Incredible response! Called in morning. Plumber arrived within an hour. Provided cost to fix toilet, as well as replacement cost for new one. Toilet needed new valve replaced because clip snapped off when I attempted to replace a flapper. Fix required removing tank, so labor close to cost of replacement. I opted to have new toilet installed. Following day, plumber arrived ON TIME with replacement. Job nearly completed when multiple hair-line cracks were noticed in new bowl. Thus, new toilet removed; replacement ordered, delivered and second installation commenced. Bathroom now titled"cursed"! Given this series of unbelievable events, remarkably the job was completely finished by 10:30 a.m. the morning following my initial call to Marzano!!! Plumber - terrific. Service-outstanding. Price- reasonable. I'll definitely use Marzano Plumbing again and I highly.recommend it.
We have been working with Marazno Plumbing for over a year. It is always so refreshing to work with this company. Too down, everyone is pleasant, professional and attentive. Called them this evening with a leaking hot water pipe in the basement. The young lady answering the call was detailed and within minutes Tony called. He promised the tech would be here asap and boy he was. We got Ray. He’s our guy. We got water running again and a game plan for repairs for tomorrow. Awesome!!!
Warning: We were told "we don't touch boiler systems over 35 years" AFTER they arrived. We specifically told their rep our system was 50 years old beforehand. We resolved a pressure relief valve issue on our own and called them specifically to: 1. Bleed Air pipes 2. Clean the furnace (essential regular maintenance) We specifically called the company because the website says "As a heating specialty, we install, repair, and service gas boilers throughout Greater Hartford, a heating method still common in this region's older homes." We were charged $250 (Senior discount down from $300) for a 20 minute call. I'm sorry -- I understand their time is valuable, but they never should have sent out a technician to work on a system that is too old for them to properly service.
5 Stars – Fast, Fair, Friendly and knowledgeable! We had a fantastic experience with Marzano Plumbing and Heating LLC. Ed and Jeff came out to replace our garbage disposal and repair some plumbing pipes, and the whole job was handled quickly and at a very reasonable price. They were extremely polite, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Highly recommend them for any plumbing needs!
If you’re debating of a company to use. Stop right now Call Marzano’s plumbing. From the receptionist setting appt to the Plumbers themselves, top notch service. Fast, reliable, knowledgable, easy to work with and respectful. Will be using them again and again…hopefully not too soon though lol 😉
