Eight permits on file, four of them pulled in the past three years, and most of the jobs behind them ran $20k to $100k — kitchens, bathrooms and roofs in Lowell, Malden, Somerville, Haverhill, Waltham and Danvers. Trinity Refinishing & Remodeling works out of 51 River St in Wellesley, and its own site describes residential and commercial renovation: kitchens, bathrooms, basements and exteriors, with a stated service area running from Cambridge and Somerville out to Andover and Waltham. Its Better Business Bureau page is an A+, listing the company as unaccredited with five years in business. The written accounts all sit in one 2021 stretch, September to November, and three of the six mention timing. A September 2021 homeowner who had a master bedroom remodeled said Yuri gave a timeframe, the crew started on time, showed up daily and finished on time; an October 2021 review credits a front porch replaced in two days, closets framed out and structural LVL beams installed; a September 2021 customer describes an old kitchen turned into an open-concept one. Yuri is named as the man running the job in three of the six, including a September 2021 deck project. The Angi and HomeAdvisor pages show that same set of six reviews, all five stars. Two things to raise before signing. BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration for the company, #202824, and scores that profile 0; ask the company directly for its registration paperwork. The same page holds one 2-star review, about a bathroom remodel design that stalled, so pin down the design phase: who draws it, how long it takes, what happens if it slips. The profiles disagree with themselves, too. The Angi and HomeAdvisor highlights put the company at six years of experience while the About text on those same pages claims over 18, and BBB lists five years in business. Worth asking which it is. For a $20k–$100k kitchen or bath in the Wellesley–Newton–Somerville belt, the permits show work at that size recently, and the 2021 accounts describe crews that held a schedule. Get the design timeline for a bathroom in writing, ask to see one of the recently permitted kitchens, and have the registration paperwork in hand before you sign.
“sunnova / trinity took MONTHS to remove me as the payee on the lease despite the fact that I no longer owned the home”
“I used Trinity and had no issues, aside from one time when a part broke and they fixed it as soon as they had it in.”
“Trinity and other door-to-door sellers are overpriced and not worth the hassle.”
“Earthlight or JD Solar. I just went through the process and both are much more legit than Trinity.”
“my neighbor down the block signed with Trinity a few years ago. Real nice guy, older couple — they were super excited at first, then completely soured when it came time to deal with roof issues.”
High Quality work and attention to detail. They are a team of craftsmen which is much different than a team of capentars. They go above and beyond to make sure the customer is completely satisfied. Most importantly the have the characteristics of a great contractor (SWYDDWYS) which means Say what you do, do what you say. Very happy with the very large farmer porch and deck that was built.
The guys from Trinity are amazing. I've had them replace my front porch, frame out closets, and install structural support/lvl beams in my home. The guys are punctual and efficient, the front porch was completed in just 2 days. The structural work went all the way to the basement so it was beam placent, door headers and a Lally column. Yuri's team did everything including the patching work, plastering, and painting on the first floor. They even fixed a few things where they found issues along the way. Trinity provides great service and they go the extra mile for their customers. They will be back at my house for sure!
