A 2025 customer who named Ultra Clean Air in Milford said the company cleaned and sanitized their HVAC ducts. A recent customer said a visit took less than 10 minutes and the price was too high for such a quick visit. A recent customer who had just moved into a condo said the technicians were there for two hours, nothing was explained, and the emailed bill was so high; that customer also said they did a good job and left minimal mess. A recent customer was not happy about the dryer vent being changed from metal to the flexible tube type. A 2025 customer said their dryer still was not working properly after a dryer vent cleaning, that a technician concluded the vent was still clogged, and that Gary, the owner, hung up on them. A 2025 customer wrote that 10 minutes of work to clean a dryer vent cost $225.00.

This was my first time using this company and the first time I've ever had HVAC service, as I've never had central air before and I recently moved into a new condo. The technicians were professional and courteous and arrived on the day of my scheduled appointment. I was told it would be one person, but two people showed up with a lot of equipment, which I wasn't expecting. Here's the issue: when I made the appointment, I explained that I'm new to having central air/heat and that I was the new owner. I asked if there was anything I needed to be aware of because I was new to this type of service, and he replied No, just make sure he can access the unit. I was not expecting the technicians to be at my place for two hours and for it to be as loud as it was. Nothing was explained to me, not on the phone when I made the appointment and not by the technicians when they arrived. It wasn't until I started questioning the technician about what they were doing in detail. The tech started packing up to leave, and I questioned if they found anything wrong or how often this needed to be done, etc.; he was just going to leave without explaining anything! He then said I'll email you the bill, I opened it up after they left and nearly fell over; it was so high! Again, my issue is that nothing was explained to me from the very beginning. They did a good job, leaving behind minimal mess. I won't be using this company again.
