UP Custom Cabinets and Carpentry works out of Woburn, and its own site says the shop opened in 2022 — young for the trade, but the projects behind its Google reviews (5 stars across 11 ratings) show a crew that already knows what it's doing with built-ins. The specifics come almost entirely from the last few months, and one story keeps repeating: designs get drawn and approved before anyone picks up a saw. In April, a contractor who hired the crew for a built-in wardrobe in Seaport, Boston credited pre-approval drawings from Luan and Victor with keeping everything aligned well before production started. Another review from the same month names Luan directly for a kitchen delivery and calls the cabinetry the best the reviewer had seen. A third describes multiple projects inside one home — a living room wall unit, a murphy bed, assorted cabinets and shelves — all landing at the same mark for craftsmanship. None of the ten reviews on record, spanning 2023 through 2026 across four sources, are negative — a modest but clean run so far. What's worth keeping in mind before calling is exactly that: this is a young company with a review base still in the double digits, so there isn't yet a long stretch of jobs behind it the way an established shop would have. For custom cabinetry, built-ins, or millwork — wall units, wardrobes, murphy beds, kitchen cabinets — this is a crew reviewers say listens closely to the design brief and delivers close to spec. Worth confirming current lead times and asking for the same kind of pre-approval drawings in writing before work starts, since that step shows up in more than one account of how they run a job.

We've had the pleasure of working with this incredible team on multiple projects throughout our home — a living room wall unit, a murphy bed, and various cabinets and shelves — and the results have been absolutely stunning every time. The craftsmanship is truly exceptional. They listen to our ideas and created beautiful designs. Every detail is thoughtfully executed, and the finished pieces look like they were made for our home (because they were!). Beyond the quality of the work, their pricing is very reasonable for the level of skill and care they bring to each project. What really sets them apart is how professional and easy they are to work with. From the initial consultation through installation, the whole experience has been smooth and stress-free. They listen, communicate well, and deliver exactly what they promise. If you're looking for a cabinet maker you can trust with your home, look no further. We'll absolutely be calling them again for future projects and recommend them without hesitation!

As a contractor, I hired Up Custom Cabinets and Cabinetry for a built-in wardrobe project in Seaport, Boston—and they exceeded expectations. Luan and Victor were fantastic to work with, professional and detail-oriented from start to finish. The pre-approval drawings they provided made a huge difference, ensuring everything was perfectly aligned before production even began. The final result was top quality. Highly recommend ! Keep up the great work!
