In an April 2022 review, a customer who called on a weekend when the temperature dropped said the crew came out within the two hours they had quoted and got the heat running at a fair price. Another, writing in May 2022, said they had used the company for more than six years to service a furnace and an A/C unit, and had bought a replacement air conditioner from them. Update Sept 2023: Rich McDermott agreed to a partial reimbursed but has never made the payment and months have now passed. Twice he said "the check in the in the mail" and another time he said it would be dropped off at my home. This is not a person or a firm that anyone should choose to work with if quality and integrity matter to you. Original Review: I only share my review so this doesn't happen to anyone else. My experience with Urban Mechanical and Rich McDermott was terrible. He installed two AC units in my home - neither work and his telephone lines have been disconnected. I not only think he can't run a business, but I fear he has a pattern of ripping off people then shutting down his operations -- and probably opening up under another name to steal from more people. I learned he even stole from his own employees. He might also operate under the name Climatech Services and 26 McDonald Street LLC. Oxbox should also be concerned about his practices because in many way he represented them. Do not get involved with him - it will be a huge regret.
Scheduled a day off work for appointment, they said they were coming in 90 minutes, then NEVER SHOWED UP or apologized. Absolutely dreadful, can not be trusted, do not use this company.
Urban Mechanical are always fast and efficient. They have great customer service, and the prices are reasonable. They have been able to fix my AC issue quickly, and I never have to worry about it breaking down again. I would recommend this company to anyone!

I am a big fan of this company. I have a heating and cooling system that needed to be replaced and I hired Urban Mechanical to install it. They were able to come and fix my system the same day and I didn't have to worry about paying for a service technician because they are a licensed and insured company. The technicians were fast, professional, and helpful, and they did a great job on my system. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a professional company to take care of their heating and cooling needs.
