Valiant Oil Co Inc is a Waltham heating and fuel-oil company. BBB identifies the business as operating for 28 years, while customer accounts describe heating-oil delivery, furnace tune-ups, replacement furnaces, and heating-system service.\n\nRecent Google reviewers repeatedly praise Rich and the team for affordable or competitive pricing, responsiveness, clear communication, fast service, and technical knowledge. One 2025 reviewer said Richard knew his stuff and charged affordable prices; a 2023 reviewer described ten years of service, fair prices, timely visits, and honest explanations.\n\nThere is also a specific negative account from March 2024 alleging unsafe driving by company drivers. That review concerns road conduct rather than workmanship, but it is worth raising if delivery logistics matter to you.\n\nValiant appears suited to homeowners needing heating oil, furnace service, or replacement equipment in the Waltham area. Confirm the exact equipment scope, pricing, response expectations, and current service terms before booking. In a January 2022 Waltham Reddit thread, a poster called Valiant Oil their favorite, saying the owner was the only one who could fix their heating and the price was decent.
“My fav is valiant oil, the owner was the only place that could fix our heating, and the price is decent, even better if you pay within 7 days.”
Richard goes above and beyond. He knows his stuff, and his prices are very affordable. We are lucky to have him as the provider for our heating system.
Rich is amazing and took great care of me when my oil ran out. Really great service and super understanding.
This is was my first time using Valiant oil stuck in an emergency, from first call to the secretary to the owner to the driver these are some of the most professional kind people I've ever dealt with. Calling around not sure what to do they were able to help with great prices also the owner was very informative responsive and understanding couldn't say enough about this company!!!
You guys must train all your drivers to cut everybody off in traffic and have no regard for right of way and safety. Oh I have a large vehicle so I can do whatever I want. Gonna cause a wreck soon you can bet on that.
the best company you are very fast
