Valley Air Conditioning & Heating is a Simsbury heating and cooling company with 4.9 stars from 167 Google ratings, and the company says it has been in business 38 years. Its Connecticut HVAC license, HTG.0394858-D1, held by VALLEY AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING INC, is active on the state registry. A customer had a furnace and central air conditioning replaced in one day, with Noah, Ryan, Jacob and Austin explaining the additional work needed to bring the home up to code. A customer had a hot basement solved with a mini split in a few hours after another HVAC professional quoted about 10 thousand. A customer who bought a home in Avon had the condenser, coil and lines replaced the same day, at a quote half the price another company gave. A customer whose AC stopped around 8:30 at night said Valley was there by 9:15 and the problem was fixed by 10. A customer said Sam used a combustion analyzer and opened up the boiler and exhaust before finding the cause of a melting-plastic smell. A customer whose mini splits Ryan, Nate and Noah installed later wrote that one head started leaking into the wall and floor after a few hours of running, and that the answering service took more than 16 hours to get the tech in touch. In a further update that customer said they had not heard from Tyler, the installation manager, and that Ryan heard about the problem that morning and was there to fix the leak. A customer said a tech's visit lasted about 25 minutes and he did not remove the leaves from the AC unit or hose off the outside. A 2025 customer was charged $186 for a routine maintenance visit, was told the unit had to be replaced, and was told locating the leak would cost another $1,000. That 2025 customer said a different company charged $500 to find the leak and recharge the system. A 2024 customer said they called about an AC emergency, were given a date two weeks out, and on that day were told no appointment had been made.
Great service Very pleasant
The BEST customer service! A company you can trust!! Joe was my service tech recently and he did an awesome job!!
Can't recommend Valley Air & Heating enough! I highly recommend Sam, he was fully dedicated finding the problem and really cared about our concerns. To give some backstory, our boiler was producing a nauseating smell that was like plastic melting. We originally called a different company to look it over and all they did was an electrical test and visually looked at the flames on the burners. They acknowledged the smell but claimed nothing was wrong and called it a day. However, the nasty smell continued to grow so we called Valley Air & Heating. Sam from Valley Air & Heating acknowledged the smell and did an entire deep dive on our boiler. Not only did he do an electrical test and burners like the other company, but he used a combustion analyzer to confirm the gas levels were normal and safe. He also opened up the boiler and exhaust to check the insides. Ultimately, he found the cause of the problem and I can't thank him enough. I will absolutely be using them again if I need anything fixed.
ALL IS WELL THAT ENDS WELL. There were a couple of hiccups along the way. Rich gave me his word that he would make sure everything would be just how we originally discussed. I had some doubts as it was a lot of work to fix the hiccup. True to his word everything is great now. There was a problem and Valley stepped up, which has become a rare trait unfortunately. So I would very much recommend Valley and a special thanks to Austin and Nate dawg.
Excellent quality of service + reasonable pricing! Joe, our tech, very knowledgeable, efficient and personable. Added bonus: he loves dogs + cats.
