Core Mechanical is a heating and cooling contractor. When one household's AC died during the hottest hot spell of 2026, a neighbor referred them to Luke, who came right over after hours to look at the house and discuss options. They agreed on a mini split; he scheduled the install for the following Monday and pulled the permits, and when the expected electrician could not make it, Luke had another electrician at the home by 11am. By the end of that day, one week from meeting Luke, they had air conditioning. Luke solved a problem caused by a random power surge that a team of experts had not been able to diagnose, and came out in an emergency to do it. A customer living in Los Angeles reached Luke Rogers on a Saturday about their parents' AC in West Hartford; within an hour he told them what was required, and the air conditioner was running again in a few hours. When a customer asked Luke for a second opinion, he ended up saving them from spending thousands of dollars on a new system that was not needed. Luke also came out the same day a customer called, fixed the problem right away and cleaned up messy wiring someone had left in a prior maintenance years ago. Late on a Saturday, a customer texted Kevin after their air conditioning stopped working; he called back within minutes, tried to troubleshoot by phone, then came right over and had it fixed and running very quickly. After a mini split stopped working, one household wanted a fully ducted system without losing too much attic storage; Luke explained several options, and the duct work was done out of the way so some attic areas stayed usable for storage. A team installed an entire mini split system in one day for a customer who praised the equipment recommendation and the price. On an aging system, Luke updated failing zone dampers and a control board and set up new WiFi thermostats.
Luke from Core Mechanical was very knowledgeable about my aging hvac system and help update my failing zone dampers, control board and set up great new WiFi thermostats. Will definitely call Core Mechanical for my future heating / cooling needs.

Luke, id a great job. Came out the same day that I called with a problem and fixed it right away. He even cleaned up the messy wiring that someone had left in a prior maintenance years ago.
We had such a great experience with Luke at Core! We recently moved into a house with no AC and, of course, ended up doing it right in the middle of a heatwave. Luke was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. He went over all of the possible locations for the mini split with us and really took the time to help us figure out what would work best for our house. We never felt rushed, he genuinely helped us make the best decision for our space. The installation was quick, professional, and exactly what we needed. Having AC has been a lifesaver! We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would absolutely recommend Luke and Core.
Luke is an absolute pro. He responded immediately to our AC problems on one of the hottest days of the year, was able to come out and fix the unit within a few hours. His rates are more than reasonable. Thanks Luke!
