Valley Fuel delivers home heating oil, and on Google it holds 3.9 stars from 46 ratings. A recent reviewer described the phone manner as unprofessional and called the business dishonest. A 2026 customer said they had used the company for nearly a decade, bought 100 gallons on a Monday and was told it would come Tuesday or Wednesday, but they never came; that customer said they called at least a dozen times during business hours without an answer. A 2026 reviewer wrote that a friend ordered 100 gallons for a Saturday delivery that never arrived, and was then told they have a new company that never did business with the old company. In 2025, a customer said their parents, customers for years, ran out of oil in the night and were told on a Saturday morning that oil could not come until Tuesday at the earliest. A 2025 customer said a scheduled oil delivery was never made and three calls to the answering service brought no call back. A 2025 caller wrote that a delivery date was set, then the company said it was not accepting new customers and should not have scheduled it. A 2025 customer wrote that they used Valley Fuel for oil delivery on all of their properties and praised Paul and his team. A 2024 customer wrote of being with Valley for over 20 years and recommended the company to anybody. Its Better Business Bureau grade is B-, and the BBB lists one complaint.
Disgusting customer service, unacceptable behavior, unprofessional phone etiquette, a dishonest business, you couldn’t PAY me to do business with this company again. Save yourself the trouble. If I could rate this company a ZERO I would
So sad my friend ordered 100 gallons on Wednesday 21,2026 and they told him it will be delivered on Saturday but nothing was delivered. He called no answer, he decided to go buy and the old lady told him they have a new company and they never did business with the old company were just helping them !!! So he’s out of $320.00 and no oil besides he has a 6 year old so sad sense this week is in the lower temps!!! It’s sad that they did this right at a major snow storm.
Been using them for nearly a decade. I purchased 100 gallons on Monday, was told I'd either get it Tuesday or Wednesday. Today being Wednesday, I thought we'd get it. They never came. During their business hours, I called them at least a dozen times and no one answered, caught the voicemail and left 2 messages. I even drove by around 330 pm and no one was there. Very dissatisfied with the service
Paul and his team are absolutely top-notch. I use them for oil delivery on all of my properties. Highly recommend!
My parents have been loyal customers for years and ran out of oil in the middle of the night. My dad called first thing this morning and was rudely told he couldn’t get oil till Tuesday at the earliest, it’s Saturday morning.. He called around and got a delivery in less than an hr from Richard’s Oil… What happened to customer service and loyalty these days? This company sucks and I wouldn’t sent anyone there ever! My parents are old and clearly cannot wait in a cold house for 3-4 days, I was so upset they wouldn’t help them after they have been customers for years! What shitty people ! If I could give zero stars I would!
