Vermont Land Maintenance says it has been in business for 20 years. By its own account, it offers de-brushing for private and commercial projects, including retention ponds, ROW, pond edges and the removal of invasive vegetation, and it pitches homeowners on pushing back brush and trees that have taken over parts of a yard or driveway.
“We received a grant from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Land Trust Grant Program to work with Audubon Vermont and contractor, Vermont Land Maintenance , to improve the shrubland bird habitat. Guided by the birds’ preferences, the team created islands of native shrubs by removing invasive honeysuckle and buckthorn.”
