A double-pane window installed in 2003 let go from the inside, and the homeowner called around before picking Victory Plus. In a December 2025 review they wrote that Victor came out the next day, removed the broken sash and sealed up the opening. That is the job this Somerville outfit is built for — broken glass, a sash that has to come out now — worked out of 104 Wheatland Street, with Victor on the tools and sometimes a helper alongside. Thirteen of the twenty-five written reviews come back to timing: same-day visits, arriving at the hour set, finishing inside the window promised. A September 2025 customer got an accurate quote for a bedroom pane, saw Victor arrive exactly at the time they had set, and had the opening covered with plastic that kept out 24 hours of heavy rain; he came back three days later. In an April 2026 review, another homeowner described him taking the frame to his shop because it was raining, after scraping old debris, vacuuming and sealing the open window before he left. It is not all glass. A November 2025 review describes Victor and his helper installing a new storm door and winterizing the front and back doors, at the house all day. Another from October 2025 covers a storm door on a garage at what that customer called a reasonable price. The Angi and HomeAdvisor listings add window cleaning, screens, frames, storm windows and blinds, and an August 2025 customer hired the company to power wash the exterior windows of a first-floor condo. The complaint to know about is a scheduling one. In an April 2026 review, a customer said they spent a month chasing him — two missed appointments, then randomly sent appointment times — and finished the project with a different contractor. Four percent of the 81 ratings behind the 4.8 are one star. That complaint lands on exactly the thing everyone else praises, so it is the part to pin down when you book. Angi and HomeAdvisor both list a Massachusetts trade license, number 194854. Its Better Business Bureau page — filed under Victory Plus Windows & Repair in Mattapan rather than Somerville — is rated A+ without being BBB accredited and puts the business at eleven years old, while the Angi profile claims 26 years of experience; ask him which it is. For a broken pane, a fogged insulated unit, a screen or a storm door, this is a straightforward call. Confirm the appointment the day before, and if your glass has to go back to his shop, agree on the return date while he is quoting.
He is a very exceptional pro. He understands the sense of emergency (recent heat wave). He is a very friendly pro. I will hire him again.
For a month, I have been chasing the pro. He missed two scheduled appointment and then started sending random appointments. I completed the project using another pro; not even listed on Angi's List
He responded quickly to my request for a window glass replacement. Came the same day and gave me a quote. It was raining so he needed to remove the window frame and take to his shop to install the glass. Before he left he scrape old debris, vacuum and sealed the open window with plastic. Returned as promised. Installed the frame with a new glass. Sealed and painted. Cleaned up. Very professional. Knowledgeable of his trade. Friendly. I would definitely recommend.
Victor did an excellent job! He was always on time, and provided me with a couple of options for my unique window size. Very happy with the work!
Soo accommodating and pleasant and told us everything we needed to know, explaining everything nicely. Timing was right on target.
