Another that same month was writing as a repeat client across multiple projects and singled out how quickly Stone answers. A December 2024 reviewer described the team as efficient and attentive to detail. The Houzz account, from April 2022, covers a large flooring job in a house the reviewer had just bought — polite, clean, on time, with the communication called out. In September 2025 the Boston Globe credited Vision Design-Build as the contractor on a project. One thing worth knowing before you call: all five accounts name Aaron Stone personally — mapping out the basement-and-attic plan in August 2025, driving out to the house himself for the 2022 flooring job. Ask how much of your project he runs day to day, and who is on site when he isn't. For a homeowner with a rough idea and no drawings — a basement to finish, an addition to work out — a firm that does the planning alongside the build is the right shape, and that is what these clients describe. Get the scope and the schedule in writing, and ask to walk a finished project before you sign.

We had a wonderful experience working with Aaron and his team at Vision Design Build and can't recommend them highly enough. We wanted to finish our basement and attic and had some ideas of what we wanted and Aaron helped us to map out what we should do and made it a reality. He really went above and beyond moving ducting, adding heat/cool zones to our house and switching us from gas heat to heat pumps. He and his team were respectful and kind and cleaned up at the end of every day. The worksite was spotless. At the end, he even sent in a team to clean the spaces so we could move our stuff right in. He was available, responsive, and so pleasant to work with. Honestly, we had heard horror stories about other contractors and our experience with Aaron was just so positive. We are already scheming up new renovations to do with his team - they are really that good!

Aaron and his team did a large flooring job for me in a home I recently purchased. They were polite, clean, on time and communication was stellar. The end product looks amazing and we get nothing but compliments from our guests. Aaron took the time to come out to our home and loaded us up with flooring samples and suggestions which lead to us finding the perfect floor for our space.
