Fixing prior work — 2026 crew reinstalled a homeowner's faulty hallway floor
Easy scheduling — January 2026 customer got a weekend start
VJ Hardwood Floors is a Connecticut flooring installer that two 2026 reviews describe laying vinyl plank. HomeAdvisor and Angi each show 5.0 from 9 ratings, and Google 5 stars from 4.
One September 2026 HomeAdvisor review is the kind a homeowner remembers: hired to lay vinyl plank in an unfinished room, the crew noticed the customer's own hallway install wasn't done properly, pulled those planks up and reinstalled them along with the room they were hired for. A June 2026 customer said the crew helped choose a vinyl plank floor and installed it in one day; the matching Angi listing prices that job at $7,500. Another September 2026 reviewer said the crew showed up on time and finished the project.
In a January 2026 review, a customer said the quote was fast, the job was scheduled on a weekend, and they planned to use the company for more jobs. An April 2026 review names Joey and his crew. Three December 2025 reviews describe floors that came out clean and precise and work done on time.
The company describes itself on BBB as offering hardwood installation, maintenance and repair, laminate, stair building and deck repair. Its BBB grade is A-.

Great experience. I originally hired VJ to install vinyl plank flooring in a room I had left unfinished. When they arrived, they noticed that the flooring I had previously installed myself in the hallway wasn’t done properly. They took the time to remove all those planks and reinstall them correctly in addition to completing the room I hired them for. The finished floor looks much better and more professional than what I had done myself. They were excellent throughout the whole process and went beyond the original plan. Extremely satisfied with how it turned out and would absolutely recommend for flooring installation.
