I recently moved to Cotuit and Vollmer & Son was highly recommended to me by a local landscaper since I had no contractor relationships here on the Cape. We wanted to finish the unfinished space above the two car garage to create a home gym and update the home's sad looking laundry room space. After getting multiple estimates, I found theirs to be both comprehensive and fairly priced. Once we started the project, Peter was very flexible and easy to communicate with. He easily accommodated any changes that came up along the way. The workmanship on both spaces is truly wonderful and really well done. Plus all the subs who came onto the project were great. Mark (father) and Peter (son) are a well oiled team and were able to fit our smaller project into their schedule as they built new homes nearby. We are thrilled with the results and the final cost was right on target with the original budget. Any changes or code required elements we had to add (like an upgrade to spray foam insulation required by the building department ) were priced fairly. There was only one item that was not quite right and when I told Peter about it he fixed it, no questions asked. I definitely recommend Vollmer & Son and will happily refer my design clients to them as well!

P M Vollmer and Son Construction, Peter, Mark and Andy, constructed a new custom built home for my wife and I. This is the fourth home that I have designed and have had built, and it has been by far the most satisfying because of the ability and professionalism of Peter, Mark, and Andy.

I would highly recommend this company! Peter is extremely professional, his workmanship is excellent , and is always on time! We had Peter renovate our entire house, inside and out. Along with all new siding and Windows . Everything came out beautiful, and Peter is a joy to work with.

P M Vollmer and Son Construction is the only company we will hire to work on our home. Mark and Peter re-shingled both sides of our home, replaced the trim with composite and have installed two windows and a boxed out window. They are incredibly reliable and give very accurate estimates. We will be having the Vollmers replace our sunroom and make it into a year-round room in the near future. The work that they perform is of such high quality and we would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. They are a joy to work with and we are excited to have them make our home more beautiful with future projects.

Peter and Mark are both extremely professional and courteous. We have done many projects with them over the years. We highly recommend their work. They always have their customers best interest at heart. We know them as workers who always go above and beyond.
