W&E Carpentry Corp is a Whitinsville-based general contractor run by Will (Wilfredo Briceno), with a review history that stretches back to 2018 and keeps landing on the same word: cabinets. The company's Thumbtack profile puts it at 7 employees and 13 years in business, and its reviews there average 5.0 stars across 46 ratings. Cabinet installation is what people keep hiring Will for. In a 2018 review, a customer described getting a competing quote that was four times the price and would have taken 12 hours — Will did the same job in about three. A 2021 reviewer called the price fair and the work excellent, and recommended W&E to their own cabinet supplier. A 2023 review from a homeowner who supplied their own layout drawings and boxed cabinets described Will and his crew working through several tight, mismatched corners to get a clean fit. The most recent account, from February 2026, is a bigger job — a mid-size renovation covering a new kitchen, a full first-floor interior, and a new bathroom — and it describes the same pattern: clear communication, a clean job site, and a project that stayed on schedule and on budget with no pricing surprises. The one thread worth pulling on before booking is licensing. W&E's Home Improvement Contractor registration (#193743, held by Wilfredo Briceno) shows up on both BuildZoom and Thumbtack, but the two directories don't agree on how current it is — Thumbtack's record was last checked in January 2021 and lists it valid only through November 2022, while BuildZoom's more recent check, from March 2026, shows the same license active. Briceno also holds a separate Construction Supervisor license (#CS-119363) that Thumbtack verified as recently as August 2026, good through October 2027 — so it's worth asking directly which registrations are current rather than relying on either directory alone. For a cabinet installation or a carpentry-heavy renovation, the reviews on file — spanning 2018 to 2026 — describe a consistent pattern: fair pricing, careful problem-solving on tricky installs, and a crew that shows up and finishes what it says it will. Anyone considering a larger project, like the recent full first-floor renovation, should confirm current licensing directly and ask to see recent work beyond cabinetry.

We hired W&E (Will and his team) for a mid-size renovation that included a new kitchen, a full first-floor interior renovation, and a new bathroom. The experience was excellent from start to finish. Will was always responsive, communicated clearly, and kept everything organized and predictable. The crew showed up on time, maintained a clean and safe job site, and were respectful of our home throughout the project. Just as important: the project stayed on schedule and on budget, and any changes were discussed upfront with clear options and pricing—no surprises. The workmanship and attention to detail really show in the finishes, and Will followed through quickly on the final punch-list items. If you want a contractor who is reliable, transparent, and easy to work with, I highly recommend W&E and Will.
Will and his team were excellent. They installed a full kitchen's worth of cabinets, and did a great job. I provided the layout drawings from the Kitchen Designer (Home Depot) and the boxed cabinets, and Will and the crew resolved a number of small issues and discrepancies along the way. I was really impressed with their solutions to a handful of "tricky corners" and other spots where the trim and the room didn't meet cleanly. They were professional (showed up on time, cleaned up, were courteous) and did a sharp job for a great price. I would hire them again, and recommend them to others.
Will and his team were great. He gave me a fair price and did excellent work. I would hire W&E again and recommended them to my cabinet supplier.
I had contacted Will about 1 ½ months before needing W&E Carpentry in for installation of cabinets at my house. I had other jobs needing to be done before the cabinets and unfortunately, I ran into problems with some contractors and had to delay the cabinet install about 8 times. Will was fine with the changes and at one point suggested a tile installation contractor that I needed because the one I did have got fired. The two guys that showed up to the house to install the cabinets were on time, very courteous and brought everything they needed. I had a couple of mistakes in my measurements but these guys were able to come up with good ideas of how to fit the cabinets correctly without having to damage or drastically modify them. The cabinets look great. I fully recommend W&E Carpentry for cabinet installation.
Will installed my cabinets and did a great job! I got a quote from LTM construction and they tried to charge me 4 times the price for the same job and tried to tell me that installing the cabinet would take 12 hours and it took Will maybe 3. I will use Will again in the future. He is professional and good at what he does.
