A wasp nest in a bush and a smaller one behind a shed were both treated for one quoted price, according to an August 2018 W.G.C. Pest Control customer. That customer said the company had offered the lowest of three quotes and handled the second nest at no added charge. The Worcester company says it began in 2016 as a family business and is owner-operated by Wilson Castillo, who describes an environmental-health background and more than ten years of field experience. It offers pest, rodent, termite, mosquito and tick services, plus wildlife removal for Massachusetts homes and businesses. WGC Pest Control, LLC has an active Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office Minority Business Enterprise certification, number 20260006, expiring March 19, 2029. Angi and HomeAdvisor each report 4.8 stars from 50 ratings and list trade licence number 42153 for the business. The written customer accounts run from 2018 through 2021. In July 2021, a customer said W.G.C. arrived the day of the call about a wasp nest in a house soffit. An August 2019 customer separately reported arrival within hours and a job completed that day. Writing in December 2020, a customer described Wilson handling wasp nests and bees over several years, along with organic mosquito and tick spraying, and praised the prices. An October 2019 customer said buzzing and tapping from bees in the walls and attic stopped in less than a week after treatment; Wilson also set preventative mouse traps and gave advice. A May 2019 customer reported seeing no ants during the week after treatment, while a June 2018 customer said mice were gone from the house. A June 2018 customer who suspected bed bugs said Wilson inspected the house, put out monitoring boards and suggested seeing a doctor about a rash. The customer said there were no bed bugs and described two follow-up calls. A May 2018 customer made a different allegation: Wilson had identified squirrels as mice, left paid attic cleaning undone, refused broader inspection and sealing, and failed to follow up after returning to patch one hole. Separately, a May 2018 customer praised timely communication but reported some odor after exterior preventative spraying, saying it was not a problem.
