W.G.C. Pest Control is a Worcester exterminator built around the jobs people call about the same day they notice them — a wasp nest under the eaves, bees tapping inside a wall, mice that showed up overnight. Across dozens of reviews on Angi and HomeAdvisor, the same first name comes up again and again: Wilson, the technician who answers, diagnoses the problem, and does the work himself. Both platforms put the business at 4.8 stars from 50 ratings apiece, and the reviews behind those numbers describe fast turnarounds — a wasp nest cleared the same day it was called in, an ant infestation gone within a week, a second unbilled nest removed alongside the one that was booked. In a 2018 review, a customer who called about an ant problem had W.G.C. flag a termite issue they didn't know they had. One repeat customer, writing in 2020, described using the company for several jobs over a couple of years and said the price came in lower than expected every time. The company also carries an active Massachusetts Minority Business Enterprise certification, good through 2029. Not every account was clean. In a 2018 review, a customer described a rodent job that went sideways — a cash-payment request, roughly 30 bait stations placed without a clear cost explanation and never retrieved, and a later discovery that the culprits were squirrels rather than the mice originally diagnosed. It's the one detailed complaint against a long run of five-star reports, but specific enough to raise directly: how pricing gets set before work starts, and what happens if a first visit doesn't fix the problem. The written record on file runs from 2018 to 2021 — real, dated accounts rather than a live feed, so it's also worth asking what current scheduling looks like. For a homeowner with an active wasp, ant, or rodent problem who wants someone hands-on and fast to the door, W.G.C.'s history points that way — just confirm pricing and turnaround up front given how much of the record predates the last few years.

WGC was awesome. They came the same day I called asking for them to get rid of a wasp nest in the soffit of the house. Very friendly and knowledgeable, highly recommend! Small local businesses are the way to go, shop local!
Very knowledgeable and thorough. I got an appointment with him immediately. I would highly recommend him to friends and family. He went above and beyond what I anticipated he would do.
Wilson has come to do many jobs for us over the last couple of years. He has taken care of wasps' nests and bees, as well as organic mosquito and tick spraying. His price is always lower than I expect and his smile and great laugh make him fun to visit with. We quickly felt like Wilson was an old friend and we look forward to seeing him again. I whole-heartedly recommend WGC Pest Control without any reservations.
Wilson came to our new house to treat a little problem, he has a lot of knowledge and answered all of our questions very friendly and professional. Give W.G.C a call if you want your uninvited creatures out of your house.
Wilson came by and seemed very knowledgeable about the problem. We ended up having bees in the wall and attic (we could hear them tapping/buzzing in the walls). He used some smoke that would get rid of them and heavily addressed their entrance area. It took less than a week, and we have not heard any more tapping in the walls. We also have had mice in the past. He set preventative traps and gave advice for keeping them out of the house. Price seemed reasonable, and would use them again.
