Six of the thirteen written reviews name Ross directly. He owns Wachusett Contractors and runs it out of Leominster with a team of around ten, by the company's own account. The website puts commercial flat and low-slope membrane work at the center — EPDM, TPO and PVC — with residential asphalt shingle, slate and synthetic slate and metal roofing alongside it, across Central and Eastern Massachusetts. Houzz adds gutters, flashing, skylights and roof inspections. BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor licence, #192527, and Houzz lists licence cs-109153. The written accounts run from 2017 through 2023, and several of them are about the money doing what it was told to. A December 2021 reviewer said the work came in at the cost quoted. A May 2021 homeowner got a quote right away, a start date that suited them, and suggestions that trimmed about $500 off the flat roof project. A July 2021 customer said Ross quotes fair prices and took extra steps to keep their flat roof leak-proof. Speed shows up too. In January 2020, a homeowner with a repair had someone on site the day they asked, the work finished within a couple of days, and a follow-up afterwards to check they were happy. An August 2021 reviewer's whole point was that the job site got cleaned up. In a September 2026 r/worcesterma thread, a commenter called Wachusett Contractors awesome and named Ross O’Donnell. One thing to square before calling: the company's history is told two ways. Its Houzz bio describes it as a spin-off of a family-owned roofing business established in 1998, while its own website says Wachusett Contractors LLC was set up around 2015 and became operational in 2020, citing 11 years in the trade. For a flat or low-slope membrane roof, or a shingle reroof where ice damming is the actual problem, this is a small Leominster crew whose reviewers describe quotes that held. Its Angi profile also states free estimates and emergency service. Ask Ross to spell out the ice-and-water coverage and the ventilation in the quote, and get the membrane warranty terms in writing before the tear-off.
