Ward Water works on home water systems, and its website describes a plumbing division called Critical Plumbing. In Hollis, a customer on well water said the technician, Timmy, came the next day, installed a new filter housing that comes off by hand, took out the old PVC pipe, put in new piping and shut-offs, and was done within a couple of hours. A customer whose water systems Ward Water had originally installed said the company got someone out the same day to fix them and get the water restored. A customer said they show up when they said they would and their rates are fair. A 2026 customer said the representative who came for an annual service, Freeman, explained everything well. A 2011 customer said a radon system installation was completed within six hours, and that a well tank was also replaced after testing. A 2018 customer wrote that the work was quality but a bit pricey. In a 2025 review, a customer said Ward Water would not fix a part that had snapped off, could not come back until the end of July, and that another company had the water back in 10 minutes for $150 less. A 2022 customer said the person answering the phone said they were booked until next week while the house had no potable water, though the technicians squeezed them in. A 2015 customer said Ward Water took the brand new copper piping and filtration system from earlier work, replaced the copper with plastic piping, and drove off without explaining how to run the new system.
Ward Water was the original installer of the water systems in my recently purchased home (installed 2021). Ultimately when I called with issues, they were able to get someone out same day to fix it! They were straightforward and easy to work with. Everyone I talked to was professional and worked with me to get my water restored.
Great company! They show up when they said they would. Their rates are fair, and their knowledge is some of the best I've seen in the industry. Thanks Ward Water for high quality service!
I live in Hollis, for all of the residents that lives here and surrounding towns we have hard water… We are on well water and most of us have some kind of water system. I built my house 16 yrs ago and had another company install a system. Well after the years past I need routine cleaning, maintenance and filter changes. Well after waiting on a filter for 3 weeks and having and older styler housing until for my filter, it was becoming impossible to change. Plastic wrenches would break just had enough. Ward water came the next Day and the technician Timmy installed a new housing for my filter where I can take off with my hands. Took out the old pvc pipe and installed new pec piping and shut offs. It was installed, done and clean within acouple hours. Was very thorough and showed me how to take off and on the new filter, what type of filter and how I can just order a new one and change anytime now. Huge Thank you, and I definitely recommend anyone to Ward Water for any plumbing needs! Sincerely New customer!
I had Ward Water come out for an annual service. Great communication. Easy to schedule an appointment and the representative they had come out, Freeman, was great. Explained everything well and service was great.
Update: I called pine state and spoke with George, he came by and fixed it in 10 minutes. Charged me 150$ less then ward and including parts! Go to pine state instead and save your money! Also dont be fooled by the response below. Like I said they are trying to make themselves look good and cover it up. They say they did there job by saying they diagnosed the issue and provided a solution to fix the issue. Well its not hard to diagnose an issue when it is clearly snapped off in front of you. The solution they offered, “sry we cant fix this, please call and schedule an appointment, we wont be able to come back until the end of july, or you can hire someone else to replace the whole T-set if you need water sooner.” Pine state had my water back in 10 minutes! Needless to say they are very unprofessional and rude. Extremely Disappointing Experience For full review go and look at my google review. Save your money and go to a professional! Call Pine State!
