Watch City Kitchens handles the design and the cabinets and LeBlanc Contracting builds the job, and the people who hire them write about the two as one team. The same names keep turning up: Anna and Alyssa on a kitchen in a January 2018 Houzz review, with Tom LeBlanc's crew working the job without missing a day; Anna, Tom and Damaris steering a design in April 2025; Eric and Eddie running an install in March 2026. The company says the LeBlanc family has served Waltham and the towns around it for more than 80 years through affiliated businesses, and it lists Waltham, Newton and Belmont as its patch. Kitchens are the bulk of the work. A March 2026 reviewer had a home kitchen redesigned and turned around quickly; a February 2026 customer had theirs remodeled start to finish; and in a December 2023 review, a homeowner describes the entire first floor of a 100-plus-year-old house — kitchen, bathroom, family room, living room and office — taken down to the studs and rebuilt with Watch City and LeBlanc together. Bathrooms come through the same door: an April 2026 reviewer had two small full baths designed and built. Two 2021 customers make the same point about timing — a Newton kitchen and bath remodel landed inside the anticipated timeframe and the budget, and a kitchen that involved taking down a wall finished in the promised window. Google carries 4.9 stars from 30 ratings; Houzz shows 5.0 from 21 with 43 projects posted. The Better Business Bureau grades the company A+ and has it accredited since 2008. Two things to know before you call. The jobs tend to be substantial: BuildZoom's permit records for the affiliated LeBlanc Contracting describe mostly kitchen and multi-room remodels over the past four years, valued from roughly $61,000 to $117,000, on houses in Waltham, West Newton, Newton Center, Weston, Belmont and Lowell. And the showroom runs on appointments — the one poor review here, from October 2024, came from someone who wanted to walk in and look at cabinets and found the staff insisting on an appointment, and rude in the exchange. For a full kitchen where the design, the cabinetry and the construction come from one outfit, this is a Waltham shop whose customers name the same designers and project managers years apart. Call ahead for the showroom, and ask for the design fee, the cabinet specification and the construction scope as one written package before you commit.
