Sandrez Home Improvements corp

Sandrez Home Improvements is a West Newton contractor built around one recurring theme in its reviews: reasonable pricing from a crew that shows up and finishes when it says it will. The company, run by its owner Alex, describes itself as a general home improvement contractor doing remodeling, painting, carpentry, and masonry work, and Thumbtack's profile lists it as six years in business with two employees. Customers keep circling back to price and follow-through. Several reviewers say they shopped around, found other contractors either overpriced or booked out for weeks, and picked Sandrez because Alex gave a fair number and could start sooner; more than one added that the final bill matched what was quoted. The work itself spans a genuinely wide range — a full exterior paint job, a rebuilt back porch finished on the promised date, a kitchen redo in a 120-year-old house that included hanging cabinets and a new range hood, a bathroom renovation, and a bedroom repaint after drywall and plaster repairs from water damage. A few customers have hired the crew more than once for different projects. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. The reviews span 2022 through mid-2026, though the pace has been light lately — just one new review in the past six months — so it's worth confirming current availability and lead time before counting on a fast start. Sandrez is a reasonable call for a homeowner with a mixed-trade job — painting plus some carpentry, a small remodel, a repair after water damage — who wants one crew at a fair price rather than the priciest name in the area, especially if the schedule allows some flexibility on when work begins.
