Watson Flooring & Construction is John Watson's own shop — hardwood flooring, tile, carpentry and general renovation out of Southeastern Massachusetts. He says he founded it in 2004 and is on the job site himself, from the estimate through the final walk-through. The company lists a working radius across Swansea, Somerset, Fall River, Westport, Dartmouth, Seekonk, Rehoboth, Dighton, Taunton, Freetown and Tiverton — the South Coast and just over the Rhode Island line. By his own account, that is two decades of installing floors and hands-on construction work, all of it owner-operated. Before booking, get the scope, the materials and the price in writing, ask for his home improvement contractor registration number and a certificate of insurance, and ask to see a few recent local floors he has done.
