What does house painting cost in Greater Boston?
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from We do LLC. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Finished floor area of the rooms in scope — not wall area.
Two rental-unit kitchens, two stairwell hallways and steps were painted in about a week, according to a January 2023 HomeAdvisor customer of We Do LLC. That reviewer praised Mac's price, speed and finished work. The company's HomeAdvisor listing offers interior and exterior painting, small painting or staining projects, and drywall work.
A February 2022 HomeAdvisor reviewer described hiring Mackenzie and his team on and off for nearly two years. They named painting, drywall work and deck building, praised the workmanship, and said the team arrived when promised. We Do LLC's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, 204336, is active.
The customer ratings differ sharply by platform: HomeAdvisor lists five stars from two ratings, while Google lists one star from one rating. The August 2023 Google reviewer accused the owner of cutting corners, making excuses for mistakes and treating employees poorly, and linked those complaints to poor-quality work. Those are the reviewer's allegations. The written customer accounts date from 2022–2023.

Very unprofessional company, owner is all for himself doesn’t appreciate his employees which makes for bad quality work, cuts a lot of corners and tries to come up with excuses as he makes mistakes. I wouldn’t recommend him at all.
Highly recommend Mac for a speedy and well done job at a fair price! Much appreciate his work! He painted both of my rental units kitchens as well as two stairwell hallways and steps in about a weeks time.
Mackenzie and his team are professional and friendly. They have been doing work for us on and off for nearly two years now. From painting to drywalling to building a deck, they are our go-to for anything home reno related. Their work is impeccable. Most importantly, they show up when they say theyâ re going to, which is not always the case with contractors. I highly recommend We Do!
