A homeowner who called Westwood Pest Control in a "mouse-panic" in December 2025 said the call came back within minutes, someone showed up the next day, and a follow-up visit landed a week later. Pick up, show up, come back — that is the rhythm customers describe.
Paul is the name in most of it. The company's site says he is the owner-operator who does the work himself, and reviewers say the same; a second technician, Brian, is named in four accounts between October 2025 and February 2026, described the same way — thorough, and explaining each step as he goes.
Stinging insects bring the urgent calls. In May 2026, a customer with a wasp nest on the roof overhang beside a bedroom window, with wasps getting into the house, said he came the same day they got him on the phone. A July 2025 reviewer with bald-faced hornets on a screened porch said he arrived that afternoon; in September 2025, another called on a Friday morning and he was there in the afternoon, then came back to re-spray when hornets were still around. An August 2025 customer on monthly yard treatments said a large hornets' nest in a tree brought someone within hours.
Rodents are the other steady stream, and the work is sealing as much as trapping. A June 2026 customer with mice and black carpenter ants said the entry points were identified and sealed and traps set; an April 2026 reviewer went from multiple mice caught a day to none within a day of the treatment. A December 2024 customer said a previous company had closed up nothing, so the rodents came back. Also in the mix: flying squirrels nesting in an attic (February 2026), a pest inspection for town permitting (September 2025), and, in a December 2023 review, a woodpecker drilling into a Dedham homeowner's wood siding.
Price and the no-membership setup come up on their own. Several reviewers call the pricing reasonable or fair, and a June 2024 customer said they picked the company because it did not require a membership. The site lists ants, bed bugs, wasps, cockroaches, mosquitoes, rodents, spiders, ticks, fleas and termites, and says the company is licensed and insured.
This is the call for a nest that has to go today, or a mouse problem you want sealed shut rather than baited forever. Ask what a return visit covers if the pests come back, and whether sealing the entry points is quoted separately from the treatment itself.
